Days Gone’s latest batch of trailers have really renewed interest in the long-awaited PlayStation 4 exclusive, so it’s probably a good time for Amazon UK to reveal its exclusive steelbook case. The crimson red box includes a silhouette of protagonist Deacon St. John, as well as the game’s logo faded over the top.
Here’s a better look at it:

While this is a pricey proposition at £51.99, we reckon it’ll look nice on display. If you’re tempted, then you can pre-order the package through here.

it looks so sexy.that cover is amazing.days gone gonna be amazing.word up son
Damn that's nice . Kinda reminds me of the P5 steelbook 👌🏽
I actually still prefer the standard boxart, it nicely gets across what the game is about.
Is that Lucille?
Hoping someone sells it on ebay, sadly amazon uk doesn't ship to Australia
Red dead days gone?
I mostly buy sony 1st party games digital now since I don't sell it after I'm done finishing the game. That's a good steelcase
Really hoping this does well seems to be the forgotten PlayStation game
@RedMan33 Its picking up a lot of pace now leading up to the release, these last two trailers have gotten people very interested who were on the fence before going by the comments I have seen.
I honestly think this will be a sleeper hit, way too many have pre-judged the game, its going to surprise quite a few people how well it will do.
honestly i think it looks kind of bland and generic, it's like all those war shooter games where the guy is stood in the middle with a gun except it's red this time not brown
Personally think it would have looked better without days gone printed on the front, and just exclusively on the spine
It's too minimalist for my taste, if I'm to pay more for something like this I want more art-work.
In any case, my days of buying exclusive bling is long over. Buy a thing for €100 today, or buy it 5-7 years later for €10. I can wait...
@Cordeceps I hope so, probably be the next one for me
Strange definition of 'sexy'.
It looks nice, but it's irritating. I was planning on ordering from Amazon, but I'm not interested in special cases and would rather it just fit in with the rest of my collection. Maybe I'll order from The Game Collection instead.
Same here, I hate special edition cases that don't fit in with the rest my collection. Looking at u Rise of the Tomb Raider, sticking out like a sore thumb, so it's all I can see!
@K-Wud Thats why most of my stuff is in steelcases with a nice protective cover. 😁
Tacky & not very creative, before any of you pre-order all the fancy versions of this game remember The Order: 1886 -___- I'd get the standard edition & that's it. Who knows how bad/good the game will really be.
@Paranoimia Pretty sure it comes with the normal ps4 case plus the steelbook going by the wording on amazon.
"Days Gone with Limited Edition SteelBook"
@FrankGarrett
What on Earth does it have anything to do with The Order?
Could as well bring up The Knack. That sounds even more relevant to me haha
Edit:
Sorry, I get it now. You meant The Pre Order. Fair enough
It would be foolish to buy expensive limited editions if you aren't really sure that you like it. Same can be said about any game.
@Cordeceps I've not had any steelbooks on PS4, but I know back on PS3 I had a few, and that was never the case - no pun intended!
why is this only included with the standard edition? why not include it with the other editions as well?
@JJ2 I was saying we don't know much about the game at this point, not much at all. So pre-ordering the collector edition for it sounds dumb cause why commit to a game that you don't know much of.
Least play the demo (if they ever will release one) before throwing 200 dollars on a special edition. Its a waste of money to me, at this point I might as well buy a different console for that price.
