There's a playable demo out now for upcoming PlayStation 4 anime brawler Kill la Kill - IF. Weighing in at 7.2GB, you can find the demo on the PlayStation Store, although you may have to search for it.
The demo includes the first chapter of the game's story mode, as well as a versus mode that comes with several fighters: Ryuko Matoi, Satsuki Kiryuin, Ira Gamagoori and Uzu Sanageyama.
What's more, the video we've embedded above is actually a brief tutorial that publisher PQube has released. It should help you settle into the demo faster if you're giving it a shot.
Out on PS4 later this month, we've thought that Kill la Kill - IF has looked reasonably promising for a while now, so we'll definitely be giving this demo a go. Let's hope that it plays as good as it looks!

Noice, i'll download that later and give it a go
Will we be getting an early review for this? Played the demo and it was not bad. My main concerned is the story mode content.
@WanderingBullet Hopefully yes.
Surprised Sony didn't censor this game.
@ShogunRok Cool. Thanks.
@Bliquid I wouldn't say low-budget but at the same time I'm not sure if it's worth paying $60 for it either. It only has like 12 characters if I'm not mistaken.
I'll give it a try. Kill la Kill does happen to be my favourite anime series, but whether or not the game is any good is another question.
@paulo1manso that’s what I thought. I mean her t*ts are literally hanging out.
Seems like there’s a lot of inconsistency in Sony’s censoring...
So I know nothing about Kill la Kill other then I've heard of it before... And that certainly was something .
Not sure I liked it at all.
There's some really poor graphics with the character Ira Gamagoori in the story mode when it shows him from a distance... unless that's part of the anime's visual style... either way I'm not a fan of it.
The versus mode opening animations also got boring very fast... I played as Ryuko Matoi against the other three and there's no differenation bar a different line being spoken.
Not sure I'm fond of the fan service either 😅
Pass, no english voices. Really wish they had dubbed it.
Played it. Thought it was fine. Sure, it's not perfect, and I definitely think $60 is too much, but as far as arena fighters go, it's on par with the likes of Gundam Versus and One's Justice imo, and I definitely prefer it over J Stars, Knights of Britannia, Jump Force, and other mediocre Bandai arena fighters (you're next, OPM). Especially when you take in consideration that this game was developed by the same people who made that average Little Witch Academia game and that mediocre Asterisk War game everyone has forgotten about, and foe what it is, they did an alright job I guess.
@KidBoruto Actually, the devs did confirm that english dub will be coming for the game. It's just not available on the demo.
I really like those red sparkle-flashes.
@KidBoruto I recalled reading somewhere saying that it has dual audio.
@WanderingBullet
I'm only interested if it has true Dual Audio. Like English and Japanese voices simultaneously.
I'm always shocked over the subbed dubbed debate, because I think it should be both, not or.
@WanderingBullet @SoulsBourne128 That's a relief, though weird they couldn't include the English Dub for the demo.
@KidBoruto Just played the US demo yesterday. Go to options, you can choose either ENG or JP language.
@WanderingBullet Thanks! Just grabbed the demo, will be sure to check it out.
