Sony definitely got the memo: you vocal lot don’t like a lot of time being “wasted” on PlayStation VR. For the virtual reality fans watching State of Play today, though, there was a brief glimpse at a handful of upcoming titles – including Space Channel 5 VR. Here’s a breakdown of everything you’ve got to look forward to:
- Gorn: A gladiatorial simulation with a full physics engine, this seems to be channelling its inner-Gang Beasts in the Coliseum.
- After the Fall: A survival shooter by the makers of Arizona Sunshine, this intense post-apocalyptic affair will take you to the frozen tundra formerly known as Los Angeles, where you’ll be able to tackle missions with friends.
- Stardust Odyssey: A sci-fi game with space crafts that look more like ships, this PSVR outing will whisk you away to another world.
To be honest, the PSVR slate isn’t as strong as it’s been in the past, but that’s probably because efforts are now shifting to whatever’s around the corner. We wonder if Marvel’s Iron Man VR will make it out in time for Christmas, though?

I was really hoping for an Iron Man VR release date. Very disappointed.
