Truck Driver Starts Its Engine with PS4 Launch Trailer

There are no shortage of niche simulators on the PlayStation 4, so it’s strange to see the big trucking franchises skip Sony’s system. Fortunately for Dutch publisher SOEDESCO, this creates a unique opportunity, as Truck Driver has earned its license ahead of its release on 19th September.

The game sees you navigating your way through a fictional open world, completing all kinds of haulage jobs for a cast of colourful characters. As you fulfil your objectives, you’ll see the environment around you change – and you’ll also earn enough money to upgrade your gear, too.

It’s a simple premise, but one that could prove entertaining when approached with the right kind of mind-set. We’re obviously fond of these types of games, so we’ve got our fingers crossed that the PS4 will finally get a trucking title worthy of your time.
