Devolver Digital and Nomada Studio have announced the beautiful 2D side-scroller GRIS is coming to PlayStation 4. This follows PEGI, the European games rating board, listing the game for Sony's platform last month.
The game is a narrative adventure with a wonderful painterly art style, which will be amped up on PS4. On the PlayStation Blog, lead programmer Roger Mendoza talks about the art team increasing the resolution of all the game's assets by up to four times on PS4 Pro. The music is also less compressed than on other versions, which will result in a crisper sound. Interestingly, the devs have hidden a "PlayStation-exclusive secret homage" in this port, so it'll be cool to see what that easter egg is.
GRIS comes to PS4 digitally on 26th November -- that's next Tuesday. Will you be taking it for a spin? Paint us a picture in the comments below.

Yep. I think I'll pick this up.
Day one for me. I loved it on Steam and I look forward to playing it again.
Played it on Switch, such a beautiful experience, highly recommended!
I highly recommend this one. Great for PS4 owners that they finally get to play this, itβs a good one.
Also on limited run for a physical collector
F****** finally, Really annoying how Devolver are keeping all their titles timed for the Switch at launch.
Gris means pig in Swedish. Kinda confusing when you look at the beautiful visuals and soothing background music.
Will definitely pig this up though.

Got this on switch. It was lovely to look at but gameplay pretty much just involves holding down left or right for 90% of the time...
@SinisterPledge you had me at "hides" π
Games like this should stick to the Switch, but it's easily one of the best gaming experiences of the last few years. I'd be tempted to buy it for a second time just for the trophies.
@Ben8371 I dont need to buy anything digital with them around. π
