Bayonetta and Vanquish Remasters Confirmed for PS4, Launching February 2020

Played the demo of Vanquish so many times back in the day. Maybe it’s time to give the full game a shot!

Played Bayo for the first time a couple of months ago on PC and absolutely loved it. Just need the second one now but it’s still pretty expensive on Switch.

Definitely gonna get Vanquish. Would love to try it.

Man I was just going to get Vanquish because I just got the Bayonetta 1 and 2 on my new switch but I can’t pass up a steelbook especially one that beautiful

Day one but I am NOT looking forward to doing those tactical challenges again in Vanquish. Those things are beyond difficult. Absolutely brutal!

Already finished bayo1 on wii u so I'll pass this (unless its bayo2), interested in vanquish.

So Bayonetta finally arrives at PlayStation, cuz that infamous port for PS3 doesn't count.

I love Bayonetta, but I played the 1st game to death on 3 different consoles. But I would love to go back to Vanquish. I’ll probably just get that.

seems like nintendo is going to purchase the studio any day now based on the way things have been going.

Wish they also had the option to buy them separately physical; only interest in Vanquish. May wait if it goes on sale in the future. Otherwise may grab it digitally again if on sale.

Why almost defend a company/rumour?

I never played Vanquish and only dabbled a tiny bit in the first Bayo. I loved the second Bayo back on the Wii U days, so I'll get this bundle.

With these remasters, is there even the slightest chance that Bayo 2 (and 3?) will ever come away from Nintendo? I know they own the IP or publishing rights or whatever it is, but surely if MS/Sony were willing to pay up, they'd be more willing to port them?

@nookie_egg I'm sure there is a sum of money that could make it happen but it's doubtful. The series from what I remember isn't a huge seller and knowing Nintendo they'd probably command a sizable amount. Would most likely be a poor ROI for ms/Sony.

@nookie_egg Never going to happen, Nintendo funded those games and there's as much chance as them going as God of War and Uncharted going over to Switch. Bayonetta is now a Nintendo franchise.

I got a Switch not long back so already own Bayonetta 1 and 2 on it but i will double dip and get this as well for PS4 as i love Bayonetta so much and Vanquish.

I’m in! Great games to play on ps4/5. I do hope Platinum keeps being in charge of Bayonetta but technically Sega still owns the IP and could decide to idk make a rpg about it or give it to another developer...

I'll pass on Bayonetta but getting Vanquish day one. Now please give Binary Domain this treatment...
