The summer burns on, and you know what? There's a surprising number of exciting PlayStation 4 games on the way. In addition to some major PS4 exclusives from Sony, there are plenty of titles arriving in July and August. As always, we've gathered them all up for you here in one convenient place. What games will you be buying over the next couple of months?

Marvel's Iron Man VR - 3rd July
It's almost time to suit up. The armoured avenger is coming to PS4 with this PSVR exclusive adventure, putting you in the expensive boots of Tony Stark. Using PS Move controllers to fly freely and blast enemies out of the sky, this seems like a marriage made in heaven. If it also delivers an intriguing story, we could be onto a real winner here.
Ghost of Tsushima - 17th July
Sucker Punch Productions is set to close out the PS4 generation with this open world epic. Set in 1274 Tsushima, this action title follows Jin, a samurai who survives the Mongol invasion and seeks revenge as the titular Ghost. Through a mix of badass samurai duels, stealthy assassinations, and a large island to explore, this gorgeous game should be a real treat.
Destroy All Humans - 28th July
The latest remake coming to PS4 revives another cult classic PS2 title. Destroy All Humans puts the player in the boots of an alien with a passion for frying the Earth's population. It's a sandbox set in 1950s America, and gives you lots of extraterrestrial toys to play with, like death rays, anal probes, and psychic powers. There's lots of daft fun to be had here.

Not a bad selection considering it’s the “barren” summer months. Ghost of Tsushima is definite for me, and Mafia definitive edition is very likely. Possible purchases are F1 2020 and Warhammer 40k Mechanicus.
Haven’t you missed Project Cars 3 from this list? I think it’s out 28 August.
I saw “Ghost of Tsushima collector’s edition” and got my hopes up! Does anyone know if they will be restocked?
Ghost of Tsushima is the big one for me, but I'm also up for some New Super Lucky's Tale as well.
Iron Man VR will be 8 to 10 hours long with some addtional combat challenges post game.
Ghost of Tsushima for me and then thats probably it for me on PS4
Ghost of Tshushima is the one I've been waiting for.Nothing else matters..just this game. Can't wait!
Ghosts Of Tshushima and KoA Reckoning will do just nicely.
I'm like Sera from DA Inquisition trying to say Corypheus when I try to pronounce Ghosts Of Tshushima.
Ghost of tsushima is my last full $60 AAA games for ps4, after that I think I'll only play my backlog or only buy discounted games until ps5 arrive.
Welp, rest in peace, wallet.
Ironman Vr, Ghost of Tsushima, Mafia: Definitive Edition, and New Super Luckys Tale are on my radar.
Ghost of Tsushima
F12020
Nioh 2: The Tengu's Disciple
Wasteland 3
Wait for a review
SAO: Lycoris
Project Cars 3
And this is "dead summer" in year 7 of a life cycle 😎
Ah there's a Collector's Edition for Kingdom's of Amalur??? My feckin wallet.
Iron Man for me 🙂
What's happened to Tokyo Olympic games? It's out in Japan not here
@Lando_ Your Wallet Was Already Dead You Just didn't Know It Yet
I thought Summer months were suppose to be dry?
GoT is going to rock my socks off
Didn’t know Kingdoms of Amalaur would come out so soon.
Considering to get it.
I was going to hold out to the PS5 for GoT but now its getting close and with CP77 releasing along side next get I may give in and play have final play on PS4 pro, If I can stand the noise, and yes, I have stripped it down and cleaned it.. again. Still one last game...
And F1 2020 ??? Is that the sit at home, eat ice cream, and try not to go lock down crazy simulator ?
Kingdoms of Amular remaster for me. Hope its a better remaster than Mafia 2 mind.
What happened to the Crysis remaster? Want to get that.
Otherwise for me next purchase is Ghost of Tsushima, looks awesome!!
Ghost of Tsushima is a must buy. Other than that, I won't be getting it right away but will be paying attention to what people think about Iron Man VR. If it's good, it's one more game to the list that might make me buy this device. PS5 is first but I think eventually PSVR will have to be added to my collection of gaming systems as well.
Just like others I also first thought of holding out with GoT for PS5. But then I thought I might want to have 2 play throughs
First one on PS4 will be as ninja and second one on PS5 with the Kurosawa filter as samurai.
@J_Warrior Normally, but then COVID-19 (the virus behind the pandemic) attacked.
@F17 Possibly but not exactly sure. I got mine thankfully due to Playstation Direct having some in stock.
@tatsumi Why do you care on holding out on buying the game for PS5? What? Is it going to ruin the experience for you if you play it on PS4 or something? I don't get it.
@Nepp67 I play on a 4K TV. And the PS4 Pro does struggle to deliver a sharp enough picture for many games (e.g. TLoU2).
So I would definitely want to play GoT again on PS5 on a better resolution.
Ghost of Tsushima is the big one for me. I may pick up the Mafia remake and PGA Tour 2k21.
Yawnfest, Nothing of interest there
Ghosts of Tsushima will be the only one im getting. F1 2020 looks more or less the same with the over saturated colours and project cars looks like it has now been Codemastered to hell which is an absolute crying shame for any sim lover. Im absolutely done buying any codemasters racing games from now on due to their shoddy practices. PC3 would have been a day 1 for me.
@Haggis555 Then why did you even come here in the first place?
I'm looking forward to playing the following games eventually. None of them will be day one purchases though, for financial/budgeting reasons.
July:
Marvel's Iron Man VR (despite not owning a PSVR)
Ghost of Tsushima
Destroy All Humans! (2020 Remake)
The Wonderful 101 Remastered
Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris
Fairy Tail
August:
Fast & Furious Crossroads
Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning
Mafia: Definitive Edition
I saw the iron man vr bundle, $349, are there enough games, in the backlog of psvr, to warrant a purchase? Also, will this particular model of psvr be compatible with ps5? Or is ps5 gonna have it's own vr system.
Can't wait for ghost of tsushima, just hope it's gonna be as good as it looks!
Slim pickings if you take out Ghost Of Tsushima if you ask me.
