We all wanted to see it, and here it is. The Demon's Souls PS5 remake has its very first gameplay trailer, and it's looking extremely impressive so far. We wouldn't expect anything less from Bluepoint Games, one of the best in the biz when it comes to remakes.
Take a look at the gameplay video above if you missed it. The game that spawned the Souls genre as we know it is back, and it's incredibly deadly — you're finishing off enemies in one blow, and it looks as though you're as fragile as they are. We wouldn't have it any other way.

Ummm, this looks good.
I'm not really into these types of games so idk what to say lol

@Octane Yep just announced as a launch game! Hype!
just about to watch it in 4K. So hyped this is a launch title
@Octane Don't worry, we're on it! (Thanks!)
@TheNewButler Can I get the link? That would surprise me they are doing this soon at the start of the gen
Looks pretty amazing, instabuy!!
@TheNewButler During the reveal it said "Not available on other consoles for a limited time. Also on PC" so yes, coming to all 3.
MY BODY AND WALLET IS READYYY
That baffles me, Sony need to explain themselves. The only reason I can think of is Atlus and Bandai Namco have a say because they published it in the west.
@TheNewButler "Exclusive to PS5 for a limited time??" What the hell does that mean? What was the point in calling it a "PS5 exclusive"?
Looks absolutely gorgeous!
Hopefully that means your player character can actually look kinda decent for once!!
@Nepp67 Fanboys gobble it up.
@TheNewButler Thanks and my god what are they doing? I thought they own the rights to Demon Souls? A serious mistake on PS for doing this
@AdamNovice I doubt that. They published it in other regions, yes, but that doesn't give them any rights outside of the deal back during the PS3 era. Sony is releasing it to PC simply because there's a big community within Souls games on that platform. It'll probably be exclusive for a year.
Coming to PC and Xbox. More lies from Mr. Hulst.
Literally 0 reason for me to buy a PS5.
I never thought I saw the day I’d find Demon’s Souls art style more inspiring than FF’s. Looks brilliant! Could honestly try to get into the series at long last
I don't get it, the game is made by SONY's Japan studio and bluepoint, also financially supported by Sony! So how and why is this coming to PC?? it's not even a console exclusive, it says just for a limited time...
@TheNewButler I think that's a mistake on the video's part; at the end of it the video said it's available on PC and is a timed console exclusive. It's been privated now on Sony's YouTube channel, so I reckon Sony will update the video at some point.
@TheNewButler That'd be very weird. We'll have to wait and see, though.
I know this is the tutorial area but I think the game will be much worse if all of the enemies die in one hit. Also, the first boss would kill you in one or two hits and you definitely couldn't block him; I hope they didn't make it easier!
The animation also looked a bit less weighty, though I did recently replay Demon's Souls and was surprised at how lose and quick everything feels.
Alright it was human error so it really is PS5 exclusive.
It looks good but, frankly, the PS4 could run it too without sacrificing much. It doesn't look 'next-gen'.
Hi there fellow gamers. I........ I have no words........ It looks INSANELY BEAUTIFUL. How does Bluepoint does it? What sorcery is this?
It is absolutely gorgeous. This is NEXT GEN. Simple as that.
It looked way to easy with the player one shoting every enemy,
but I´m guessing it was for not making the demo to long.
And it´s a launch game, as it should be. DAY ONE!
Cheers, stay safe out there and happy gaming to us all
New trailer blew my mind, games looks so dam beautiful.
I can't wait to die over 20 times against the same boss haha.
