The first of Sony's PlayStation VR spotlight announcements has arrived, and it's actually a rather cool one. The uber-popular Minecraft will be receiving full PSVR support later this month as part of a free PlayStation 4 update. This virtual reality support extends to the entire game, meaning it's not its own separate mode or anything like that.
Mojang has optimised its existing Minecraft VR tech for the PSVR version, bringing with it new comfort settings and guidance. You'll be able to select between either the Immersive or Living Room modes upon boot up. We've embedded two screenshots of the new PSVR capabilities in action below. Are you looking forward to experiencing the bricks and creative techniques of Minecraft in PSVR? Let us know in the comments below.

This is very cool!
My son will be shaking with excitement at this. Shame we don't have PSVR (even bigger shame that I did have it a year or so ago for a week but got rid of it)!
I'm sure some people will manage to get so much into it, they'll forget it's a game
I really hope we get the RTX version on PS5, it would look brilliant in VR. For me, immersion in VR is almost always down to lighting.
Omg! Awesome!!!! Was literally just playing a couple days after buying the Halloween mash up dlc and was thinking how cool itd be in vr. This is so cool. I wont be able to help myself from jumping off the highest peak, probably gonna puke lol
Really feeling bad about breaking my psvr 😶
Its about time! I always wanted to try minecraft in vr.
Oh my this is game changing
Respect to Microsoft
Tempted to give it a try. We don't own Minecraft on PS4 but I think the library has it.
That’s neat. It might make me consider playing to for a few minutes again after all these years.
Great, my 9 year old son tried to play Mincecraft on Oculus Quest Link but hated it because the headset is so heavy and uncomfortable. He loves to play on PSVR, even for hours. So this is great news.
