Bayern Munich and Polish international striker Robert Lewandowski has a PS5, supposedly. The prolific goal scorer — who played in the Champions League last night as his team battered Atletico Madrid 4-0 — took to Instagram in order to share a cheery photo of himself, DualSense controller in hand.
Of course, the question is whether or not Lewandowski is actually playing Sony's next-gen console. It could just be that he's been gifted an early DualSense and he's doing Sony a solid. #PS5 hashtag and all.
Lewandowski isn't the first celebrity to get some hands-on experience with next-gen tech, however. Rapper Travis Scott posted a similar picture back in September.

That's not a Dualsense, that's a Dbranded PS4 Controller!
You mean Lewan-GOAL-ski.
Worlds top goal scorer tries World top console.
My bet? Promo video being filmed for FIFA 21 PS5.
The buttons on the dualsense are so shiny & clear
Great thing about Sony's latest controller is we know where the lights are... And they ain't on.
@get2sammyb Thomas Muller approves
I think it is just the controller.

Back of the net!
@get2sammyb The New Playstation Store is now live in the UK btw.
@SoSolidSnake Still not seeing it here.
Great player. Also seems very humble. Would of loved to have seen him in Liverpool red but I am glad he has had a great career in the Bundesliga (which is my second favorite league to follow after the Premier League).
All the best for the PS5 in its early years as well as for its early adopters.
I'm genuinely curious what purpose it serves to give celebrities something like a PS5 (or even just the controller) early to post about them on social.
If a person wasn't already interested in gaming, seeing a celebrity they like having one isn't going to make anyone think "Well, _____ has it, so I have to have it, too." Maybe it just boosts the signal and alerts people who may buy consoles but might not know there's a new ones coming, but if they didn't know at this point, then they probably aren't interested enough to care.
