Hereโ€™s a photograph of Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford holding the first ever PlayStation 5 game, straight from the Blu-ray manufacturing plant. According to the executive, this copy of Godfall is the โ€œfirst next-gen retail game in the worldโ€, which is pretty cool to be fair. Heโ€™s even photographed the packaging from a variety of different angles, so we get our first look at the back of a PS5 case, for example.

To be fair, the design theme is pretty consistent with PlayStation 4 games. There are some icons at the bottom which confirm the game is not playable offline, as well as โ€˜Vibration Function and Trigger Effect supportโ€™ for the DualSense controller. The PS5 disc itself has a white banner towards the bottom with the consoleโ€™s logo in it, and also sports the Ultra HD Blu-ray logo. Pretty cool, huh?
