An absolutely enormous Fallout 76 update weighing in at an astonishing 58.6GB has rolled out on PlayStation 4, as Bethesda continues to iterate on the persistent online game. Dubbed the Locked & Loaded patch, it brings with it a wealth of new features and functions, including the ability to establish a second C.A.M.P. base and reset your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. perks in order to devise different loadouts.
The patch marks the start of Season 4, and also includes numerous usability improvements, loot, and Daily Ops. We know this one’s not necessarily everyone’s cup of tea – it was terrible at launch – but it has changed a lot over the past few years, and this is yet another step towards the title realising its potential.

This game will be the reason we don’t get another fallout for at least a decade. Same thing happened to elder scrolls.
While the concept of a multiplayer fallout isnt necessarily a bad idea, this game even if you ignore the technical issues just has no soul to it. Everything in it feels pointless. Whole point of the Fallout series is exploring the wasteland on your own with the occasional companions, meeting interesting people, taking on quests, sometimes scraping by with limited ammo and other supplies, making impactful choices, etc. This doesn't really have much of any of that aforementioned list. Its like Bethesda forgot everything that made Fallout special (no pun intended). I hope in the future they just go back to their roots. It will sell well corporate heads i assure you.
Their next patch should be titled "16 Times the Detail".
Did they seriously take 4 seasons to patch in the ability to Respec SPECIAL perks?
@PegasusActual93 Sums up the game perfectly.
They should focus on upgrading it on PS5. Playing it at 30fps just feels wrong.
@Danloaded No, you could respec for a long time now. Before the Wastelanders update even, I believe. The catch was you could move a SPECIAL point on level up, post lv50, and moving the point would be done instead of claiming a perk card.
Assuming you're leveling to 100 for the trophy, there were about 50 opportunities to move points, because there just aren't that many perk cards that are worth it.
Being able to just reset everything is definitely an improvement, though.
all I can say is LOL to F76
Forgot about this game's existence until right now this very minute.
I’d at least be kinda interested to try it if there was an official PS5 patch and some kind of bundle that includes everything. The idea of hunting Mothman out in the WV hills sounds fun enough.
@Milktastrophe ah i see. I haven't played for a long time waiting for updates but then other games took priority. One day il get back to it with a fresh save. I didnt get far before so no loss
The biggest shock is that this update exists. Is this some lame attempt to placate people who wasted their money this pile of poo?
They must actually be making money off this. Who are these people?
I came back to this game after 2 1/2 years and I still can't go into vaults, where is anything cool?
@LukeNI 60fps will not fix all the issues with this game
@ILikeStake
The whales
Im not even a bit interested til fallout 5 comes out. If its online only im done with bethesda. Im even replaying fallout new vegas for the 500th time.
@sanderson72 it's a Bethesda Game. They all got issues. The game has kept me occupied alot longer than most recent games, it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
A performance boost would be a game changer for me personally.
