Developer Arc System Works has dropped a preview video for the soundtrack of Guilty Gear Strive. Newcomers may not know this, but the fighting game series has a rich history of hard rock soundtracks — composed and performed exclusively for the franchise. It's had some absolute bangers in the past, and Strive's music is starting to sound just as great.
The video includes a number of samples that haven't been heard before, including specific themes for Sol, Ky, May, Axl, and more. We can't wait to pump up the volume when Strive launches next month.

The series easily had some of the best soundtracks in the genre. I'll admit I haven't been in touch with it for a while so I don't know if this has been a thing in previous entries but I'm a little surprised to find this one is not mostly instrumental... particularly because the vocal performances are definitely not the best part of it.
@Voltan The Xrd games had quite a few vocal tracks as well, but Strive seems to be focusing on them almost exclusively.
The vocals can take a little getting used to (since it's Japanese leads singing in English), but once you buy into it, there are some great tracks!
Needs more blue water,blue sky...Holy orders....fatal battle.
I'm not a fan of vocal tracks in fighting games...I miss the old days of Capcom's old music, vf2, Tekken 3,6 tag, blazblue etc...there would legit be songs where I did better because the music immersed me and my timing on things was perfect
Yea I wasn't sold on the vocals at first but during the beta you end up singing along in the heat of battle. Also 5 characters in S1BP? Nice. I hope they give me Baiken and Venom.
