Polyarc is developing a sequel to PlayStation VR title Moss, sticking Book II on the end of the title. The game is being made for the current PSVR headset, not the next-gen device currently being worked on by Sony.
The YouTube description reads: "In Moss: Book II, the story picks up right where things left off following the successful rescue of Quill’s uncle Argus. Your adventure continues with the revelation that a winged tyrant leading the Arcane forces has turned its focus on Quill and is now on the hunt for her within the hexed castle where her uncle was held captive. Lined with dangerous terrain, challenging puzzles, and enemies twisted in fire and steel, Quill’s journey will be trying—filled with triumph and heartbreak alike—but new allies, old friends, and the very nature of the castle itself can help as she works to save the world from a great unmaking."
In a press release, principal software engineer and design director Josh Stiksma said: "We were blown away by the reception from fans to the Moss story. Players built an extraordinary bond with Quill. Countless emails, tweets, streams, and fan art postings made us feel like we had created something special. We’ve since poured our hearts into ensuring Book II is a worthy continuation of Quill’s journey, and hope fans around the world are ready to join Quill in the next chapter of her story."

Delighted to see more Moss. Played the last one to death. I can't wait for this.
Seeing the Polyarc splash screen instantly made the state of play worth it for me. So hyped for this!
Best thing from this show case for me.
I mean it's no Trover Saves the Universe 2 so...eh 😏
Big smile when I seen it was Quill. I love Moss. Hoped they would make a second one. I just hope it's compatible with the next gen PSVR.
Hopefully them giving the 1st one away for free free recently means some more people will buy this one. I still haven't played them yet, maybe when it isn't 90', but the demo was good enough I'm looking forward to this one.
The first game Was painful to platinum, I hope this game is a bit more easier
WOW! This is such awesome news! Sonys SoPs are usually so lame so I decided not to tune in (especially since it was focusing on that dumb Death Loop game) and of course the one time I dont watch, they show Moss 2! Sooooo stoked! The first one is hands down one of the best VR games out there!
I never really got along with moss in the same way I did Astro Bot. Not sure whether it was the additional blurriness or the fact that it’s basically a puzzle game rather than a platformer, but something never clicked. I’ll give it another go at some point though as I really want to like it and this trailer looks so much better gameplay wise!
Really loved Moss but thought they'd given up on the project and that there'd never be a Book 2. Very much looking forward to this.
Absolutely loved the first one, still one of my favorite PSVR games to date. I'm absolutely on board for another one!
The first was just GORGEOUS - and thoroughly enjoyable to play too, making great use of VR and some really smart controls. Will definitely pick up the squeakwel! 🐭
This was a lovely surprise
I love the little mouse looks so cute i dont know if this will work in a non VR title but just like i heard with Astrobot VR that really lifts up te game.
@Broosh It's good enough.
But really, this looks so good.
Is this available only on VR?
@mrtennis1990 ye.
Yes! I was googling about this after I completed the first a month or so back. Hope for a bit of expanded gameplay similar to the update they added. Also hopefully a bit longer. Really cute and fun game, though.
@huyi The only tough one was the no death trophy? If you have ps+ cloud saves it makes it a 1 of 10 with 10 being hard to 100% and platinum
After watching the trailer it looks great! I really hope it's longer than the first. I'm definitely gonna get this day 1 depending on length/price.
@HotGoomba thanks for letting me know.
I feel stupid for not grabbing Moss when they made it free recently, definitely gonna pick up both games eventually.
