Gundam Evolution is Bandai Namco's latest attempt at making a multiplayer Gundam game that might catch on in the West. It's a six-on-six first-person shooter with three different competitive modes and varied match objectives. If it plays well enough, we dare say that it could find a bit of traction.
It's currently set to drop at some point this year, for both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. There's no word on whether it'll be a free-to-play title like previous online Gundam games.
Oh, and if you're the kind of gamer who hears "multiplayer" and checks out, you might want to give the recently announced SD Gundam Battle Alliance a look.

I love Gundam but this may be a pass for me. SD Gundam Battle Alliance looks far more interesting IMO. Still hoping for a stand-alone Gundam Battle Operation game and still dreaming of an Armored Core style of Gundam game (Gundam Breaker is nice and all but I want something that has more war-themed in terms of story and lore)
@BartoxTharglod looked like transformers to me
@Would_you_kindly Yeah. For a second I though we was getting a new or remaster of War for Cyberton
Gundam Mechs have such cool designs and having it be through an First Person Perspective just totally misses the point...ugh - so disappointing. I hope it does well but I dunno; this is probably the most disappointing one in the SoP.
This is just a regular MP FPS with a Gundam skin ... meh
I rather see a third person one.
cant we just have a single player game!
