The one-time Stadia exclusive interactive horror title, The Quarry, has just gotten a major new patch, and it introduces the multiplayer mode Wolf Pack that was delayed prior to launch.
The mode is described by 2K and Supermassive Games as follows:
"Wolf Pack is an invite-only mode where a host can invite up to seven friends with access to the game to watch along. While the host plays, their audience votes on each key decision, with the majority vote determining the outcome" publisher 2K explained.
"With endless replayability already built into The Quarry's deep narrative experience, Wolf Pack offers a whole new take on the unimaginable choices you face during your journey, enabling you to experience the fright with friends."
In addition, all six episodes of the in-universe podcast Bizarre Yet Bonafide have been added to the base game.
Finally, a cosmetic DLC that introduces '80s-inspired outfits for the principal characters is now available (this was included in the Deluxe Edition, folks that purchased the standard edition can pick this up separately).
While we didn't love The Quarry, Wolf Pack looks like a fun way to experience the game.

This sounds like a great night in, but those seven friends need to own the game as well. It would be better to have a one-time up-to-7 friend pass. How many friends will own this, then want to join in and just vote when they've already played it (multiple times)? Having a one time friend pass might even boost sales if they enjoy it enough.
No I’ll not play this again
Not enough gameplay
lol your average multiplayer wont bother itll be like a movie to them 😂🤣
alot of people out there wanting to skip. no no its all part of these games gotta eatch the cut screen to place the character in the plot. a friend was playing a level each with me on uncharted 1 to 3 i did not allow skipping of cut screens, he still has to play uncharted 4 lol
i play watchdogs over and over again i watch everything 🤣😂
This might have been fun to try but they just had to make it invite only. Im the only person on my friends list who even played the game XD
This game was far from “endless replayability”. There’s hardly any user input, so it would be like watching a 12 hour movie then starting it over and watching it again. No thanks.
What the hell are you going to do in MP? Scare them to death? 🙄🙄
I gave up on the PC version cause it would just crash and even others were having this problem.
@Niktaw ive started my 3rd and 4th play through there is loads of different outcomes for some parts.but the base story and plot doesn't change.its very interesting finding out other things. have you played heavy rain? absolutely brilliant story and twist. have a good one 👍
I really like this game. Opinions are subjective.
@__jamiie Glad to hear there's still at least one person who likes this game!
Why, no really, some games are just fine being SP, this is one of them, why cram some janky MP(not really, even lamer) junk into it, no one is going to buy this game just to sit by and watch, this is some pathetic money grab, obviously they didn't get what they thought they were going to.
@Mad001 loved Heavy Rain, one of the very few games I’ve platinumed, and really enjoyed Until Dawn. The Quarry felt like the story wasn’t put together great, and the actual user input was minimal to say the least. It just didn’t keep me engaged enough to want to go through it multiple times. I did enjoy my playthrough, I was just a little disappointed.
@Niktaw it was made for Google stadia lol suppose thats why it was lacking ( they'd pull the game once licensing of who knows what ran out, and the people who paid for it would be twiddling their thumbs)
i know im still wanting more 😂. the twist in heavy rain i couldn't believe it lol still a few questions need answered like those black outs! oh and its was a great game to find out if your ps3 controller needed replacing 🤣😂
