The standalone co-op mode of Killzone Shadow Fall, titled Intercept, is leaving PS Plus Extra in the near future. The PS4 game's tile has appeared in the Last Chance to Play section, but a leaving date is not attached when you button through to the app itself. It's safe to say your time is now limited if you happen to be playing the online mode via PS Plus Extra.
Released just over six months after the PS4 launch game, Intercept is a four-player co-op mode where you play as VSA troops behind enemy lines, tasked with defending uplinks from Helghast forces across four maps. We found the DLC to be really good, awarding it an 8/10 in our review and saying: "Requiring a good amount of coordination and teamwork, the expansion won't suit everyone, but victory tastes all the sweeter because of its often intense difficulty."
Killzone Shadow Fall itself hasn't appeared in the Last Chance to Play section, so it should still be part of the All PS Plus Games list. If you are playing Intercept, you have the option of buying it off the PS Store for £15.99/$9.99 once it leaves or opting for the base game's season pass at the same price. While this mode was offered standalone, it's also a piece of DLC for Killzone Shadow Fall.
Other games with confirmed leaving dates on PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium are NBA 2K22 and WRC 10 (both on 31st August 2022) as well as Red Dead Redemption 2 (on 20th September 2022).

Maybe they're closing the servers down? Not sure that would impact the co-op
I don't understand stuff like this. I obviously understand when it comes to third-party games they've licensed, but why wouldn't you just keep this there forever?
There is no reason at all for any Sony game to leave this service. Just like Microsoft isn't removing their games from Game Pass. I understand if servers shut down or some kind of license expires like for a car game but we've heard nothing about Shadow Fall shutting down.
@get2sammyb only reason I can think of is nobody streams it so they want to delete it off the stream servers. But just make it download it only then, they've had some download only games in the past.
Sony being Sony yet again 🙄
@get2sammyb Could it have been a glitch given that no date was given when the title leaves?
I never heard of first-party content leaving their own subscription service unless the servers are about to go offline.
I don’t see why anything first-party should ever leave PS+ Extra.
And I’m glad I don’t have Extra. I hate stuff like this, rotating games are terrible.
After kiwami 1&2 , i have some serious trust issues with this service.
@shamirqushairi a ton of first party games left when PS Now became PS+ Premium. Like every Sly Cooper game for example.
I do hope this isnt a sign of things to come Sony used to remove its own games from PSNOW after 90 days.
Does anyone still actually play this? While I’m not for shutting things down generally, online modes that no longer have a player base large enough to justify their ongoing life are exempt in my book.
I don't understand their decisions either. Would make sense keeping their own games on.
Only thing I can think of for why they leave some games out or remove them is to keep the service fresh with a lot of swapping in and outs. If there is a game you want but isn't on, you will come back another day when it does. If everything was on, you'd probably not come back when you've had your fill. Might even get you excited when they return again too
I tried this when PS+ Extra came out, its good but sadly dead, no one online at all
@shamirqushairi Tlou2 was on PS Now for only a few months. Spiderman (PS4) too
Am I right in thinking that if it's in your library you can still download and play it?
@get2sammyb https://twitter.com/Guerrilla/status/1550465830856671233 I suppose this is why
@I_Am_Not_A_Robot Nope, you can't play the game once it leaves the service.
Hopefully they’re just shutting the servers down or something, it would be a real disappointment if Sony plans on removing 1st party titles from this service. Delay their arrival if you must, but removing 1st party titles from your own subscription service is a real head scratcher.
@commentlife They are, next month - see my previous comment.
@Voltan good to know, thanks for the head’s up
While disappointing, this makes sense since barely anyone is playing anymore and some game modes don’t even have enough players to sustain.
It's because all servers for Killzone Shadowfall shutdown on 12th August 2022 so Killzone Shadowfall Intercept is online only all Trophies would be unobtainable. Hence why it's leaving PS+.
This is some rubbish reporting.
