If you're the least bit interested in Sword and Fairy: Together Forever, we'd highly recommend checking out this new overview trailer. It's a meaty video that covers just about everything that the upcoming action RPG has to offer, with a focus on combat, world building, and gameplay structure.
It's not long until the game's out on PS5 and PS4, either. It launches next week for both consoles, on the 4th August. But will you be embarking on this mythological adventure? Command some spirits in the comments section below.

Day one buy for me. Looks awesome.
@Bentleyma Same here looks awsome.
@Flaming_Kaiser @Bentleyma If all goes to plan we'll have a review soon, so keep an eye out!
Looks promising. Looking forward to the review!
@ShogunRok Pfft, I'm not waiting for your review. I like to live on the edge.
Really interested in this.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
This isn't coming out in a physical format is it?
This looks amazing!
@MUG3NHC I think it actually is, but not at launch. I believe physical editions come out next year.
@Bentleyma You can use the review to validate your purchase (if we give it a good score)!
Really interested in this but playing other stuff at the moment so not going to be a day 1 purchase, will hopefully get it pretty soon after if it reviews well.
@ShogunRok
Oh man. That is so annoying. I want to play it day 1, but also collect everything on discs.
Excited for this but happy to wait. Not just for reviews... Xenoblade Chronicles 3 arrived on my doorstep early the other day! That's a couple of months at least.
Looks pretty cool. Is there any adventuring or town-based gameplay? Is it all dungeon crawling?
Good game on PC... enjoyed it - liked the combat. Also looks like it will be as nice looking on PS5 as on PC.
Need to play it at least for 2 hrs before making a decision if you like the game or not
After this and Gujian 3 - I really Hope we get more games from China.
@Agramonte So it is indeed the same game as Sword and Fairy 7 but for console, right? Bought it a while back on PC but I haven’t gotten around to it yet.
@RudeAnimat0r
There are towns, cities and temples depending on the zone. Shops, upgrade, cook, a mini board game NPCs plays like in FF and side quests. But It is not an open world game.
Once the story opens up you will travel to locations freely or guided by the story (just drops you there after a cut scene) via a static world map. New locations open up with the story. One can be just a large city... a village with open woods around it you can explore/sidequest... a linear ice dungeon... ruined village in an open field... etc
@Relygon Yeah, looks like the same game for everything I have seen. They changed the name for some reason.
I played #6 that is turn based and completely different. So maybe a clean start in the West.
@ShogunRok I believe the physical release is limited to Japan/Asia with English language support, but I could be wrong.
I don't think i will.
I did not buy Russian games and i don't buy chinese ones either. Aka i don't finance war against us.
Now the thing is the developer here is from Taiwan, but i cannot find evidence from the publisher but it seems to be chinese.
So, i am steering clear.
@Steelhead Ahhh, you might be right. Tagging @MUG3NHC just to be sure.
I'm gonna buy this one for sure. It may not be on the release date, but I have been waiting on this to come to consoles
@ShogunRok
Oh well, will be easier to pull the trigger on day 1 then.
Doesnt took that good. Will wait for the review and to se show long the game is. Anything less than 30 hours isn’t worth the money
@ShogunRok Playasia has it i think.
