Anticipated JRPG Trails from Zero has a new gameplay trailer, mostly showcasing its turn based — and team-based — combat system. If you're already familiar with the Trails from Cold Steel games then you'll feel right at home here, although given that Zero originally released for the PSP back in 2010, it's fair to say that the system as a whole is a little less developed.
Still, there's going to be a lot to like about this one if you're a fan of tactical, turn based battles. Characters can be customised with quartz — giving them access to additional buffs and abilities — and party members can combine attacks to unleash deadly onslaughts.
Trails from Zero is still set to launch for PS4 on the 27th September in the US, and the 30th September in Europe. But will you be joining the ranks of the SSS? Start powering your arts in the comments section below.

I love the combat system for the Trails games. There are so many options to set your party up for success. Nothing like playing Cold Steel and having Fie be an evasion tank. Kind of breaks the game but I love that it's an option!
Can't wait to see what I can come up with for Zero!
Never played a Trails game but is this a good one to start off with?
@pharos_haven yeah it's not really connected to the previous game except for some characters. But if you like how this game looks and you have at least a potato PC you can start with Trails in the sky
Or if you know Japanese and you have a Vita you can play Trails in the sky EVO version on Vita.
Hell yeah! Let's go baybee!
not too shabby. i see some notes were taken from valkyrie profile ds as far as attack specials go. nice. thank the lord it isnt realtime clusterf***** trash.
