We'll be honest, it's a bit of a surprise to see a third entry in this budget kart racing series. Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway was announced back in July, and looks to be the most robust iteration so far. It's not looking too shabby in this brand new gameplay trailer.
The game is set to feature more than 40 characters from numerous Nick shows including enduring icons like SpongeBob SquarePants, older favourites like Hey Arnold!, and more modern cartoons such as The Loud House. You can see plenty of others in the video, confirming characters from Rocko's Modern Life, Ren & Stimpy, TMNT, Avatar, and more.
The best bit, really, is that each character will have voice lines. Instead of racing in silence, the competitors will emote during the action, which is something the previous two games didn't manage. The racing itself looks just fine, so hopefully we have a reasonably decent arcade racer on our hands. We'll know for sure on 7th October, when the game releases for PS5 and PS4.

Did this game really need 2 sequels?
Now if this had been F2P
Since Sega has killed off the Sega All-stars racing franchise for no reason this is all we have unfortunately, of course I won't pay money for it since this screams "coming to a PS Plus near you!"
The first one was really quite bad. The fact we are now on number 3 suggests a solid numbers of people are actually buying them …
I think the 2nd one reviewed rather well, so I hope this continues the trend.
First one was bad, second one was actually OK and this looks better still and with......(fanfare) VOICES! About bloomin' time...
No interest in buying, but if it ever comes to PS+ I'll give it a chance.
