Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous was released on PS4 at the end of September, and if you have somehow managed to blaze through all the content contained in the Enhanced Edition in the weeks since, well, you are in luck. Developer Owlcat Games has detailed the second season of content coming to the game, with pre-orders open now. No word as to when they will release, but we will be sure to let you know once we learn more.
Three more major pieces of content will be coming to the title, the highlights of which include a new companion, class, and region to explore, a continuation of the story told in the Through the Ashes DLC from Season 1, and a return to Kenabres, the site of the first major battle against the demonic horde. Full details, as listed by Owlcat, can be perused below:
- DLC #4
Here comes a new companion for the Knight Commander's party and a new playable class: the ever changing shifter! Bolster your party with a reliable brawler, capable of taking on the aspects of various wild beasts. Delve into the lost secrets of Old Sarkoris. And who knows? Maybe you will even find new love, one transcending time itself.
- DLC #5
This new standalone campaign picks up where the ‘Through the Ashes’ DLC story left off. A new demon lord with hordes of frozen minions is emerging from the depths of the Abyss. With the Knight Commander busy elsewhere, what can a group of regular adventurers with no mythic powers do to save the day? This expansion offers a 6-7 hour story, which you can play independently or with the hero from your ‘Through the Ashes’ save game. And when you're done, a new dungeon in the main campaign will be open for the Knight Commander to explore.
- DLC #6
During your first visit to Kenabres, things didn't go well. Now that the demonic assault has been thwarted, and the crusaders are preparing their final counterattack, why not take a little break? Kenabres, burned and rebuilt, is holding a new festival, and the Knight Commander will be the guest of honor. This is your chance to spend some quality time away from the battlefields together with your companions – and, perhaps, go on a special date with your loved one. Be careful, though: the war isn't over yet, and even the new, peaceful Kenabres might be hiding its share of secrets...

Nice! I'm still working my way through act 2. I'm enjoying it. The battles are fantastic. Just reached level 7 and im now able to ride my wolf animal companion. Adding more to this great game is great news. I will pick it up once I finish my first play through...or maybe second.
I was hoping for something more elaborate and tied to the main campaign but doesn’t sound too bad tbh. May check out the companion and Kenabres ones.
Loved the first Pathfinder, but wasn't a fan of the Kingdom building / decisions with your advisors. Has this been removed from WotR or is there still a kingdom building element?
@Ratmonger9 Instead of kingdom building, it's crusade management this time. But, just like Pathfinder, you can set those to "auto" & not be bothered with them. It's what I do!
No one else is having severe crash issues every half hour?
@JbumiSandra Thanks for the info!!
@VivatGrendel I have not had any crashes. I am using my PS5 though. I'm also only in act 2.
I am really enjoying this game. I as well is only in Act #2. Playing on the PS5 and no crashes so far.
This game is incredible, so glad it came to PlayStation. Loving Fighting through all the demons and enemies in this world, highly recommended if you like CRPGs. Its also insanely huge, could have easily have been broken up into two games. And Owlcats next game, Rouge Trader, will be even better
