Resident Evil 4’s iconic inventory management minigame is being riffed on in Save Room, an upcoming PS5 and PS4 puzzler which challenges you with, well, saving room. You’ll be tasked with squeezing a range of equipment into a briefcase, combining items and reloading weapons in order to maximise the open slots you have available.
The game will only cost $4.99 and, with Ratalaika on publishing duties, you can expect a fairly straightforward Platinum Trophy. Obviously, this is not even trying to hide its inspiration, but it’s a fun idea. We’ll be interested to see if the developer can make the puzzles progressively more challenging, because it does seem pretty easy based on the trailer.
You’ll be able to test your space-saving skills on the PS Store from 11th November.

Looks ***** but I'm sure it will sell to those who want another easy platinum
I think it looks like a cute idea, personally.
It is a pretty cool idea, actually!
@Kanji-Tatsumi that are actually a lot of people so they have sales guaranteed even when the idea isn't bad at all tbh
@Kanji-Tatsumi Or it will sell to people like me who appreciate the novel concept and affordable price.
I really enjoyed my inventory space shenanigans in RE4 and (to a lesser extent) in RE7/8 as well - just not quite sure whether I'd pay for a whole little game based on the concept. I guess it'll depend on the amount of content and whether the 'puzzles' are well thought out.
“What are ya buying”….
Not this game.
Funny parody but not gonna play this.
