One of the advantages of the shift to digital is that games generally have a much longer lifespan, and as the PS Store’s library expands, so too do the scale of the discounts available. These days, you can pick up some pretty decent games for pennies – and that’s true of Sony’s latest sale. We’ve scoured through the options and compiled a list of worthwhile titles that can be purchased for less than the price of a cheap takeaway coffee – in fact, all of these can be had for less than £2/$3 if you have an active PS Plus subscription.
Now it’s worth noting that there are a lot more games on offer than what you’re seeing here, and some are going for as low as £0.10/$0.10. However, we’ve tried to shy away from easy Platinums and general shovelware, and compile a list of games that are worth your time. It should be underlined that few of these are world-beaters – you’re generally looking at titles in and around the 6/10 category – but in the current economic climate, saving money is a virtue, and these are all very playable if you fancy giving them a try.

If you’re willing to spend a little more, we’d also add that major titles like Thief, Just Cause 3, and Far Cry 3: Classic Edition are only a little bit more than what’s listed above, so they may be worth trying, too. In addition, we’d like to stress that some of the games listed above are also available as part of All PS Plus Games, so if you are subscribed to one of the higher tiers, you can put your money away.
Nevertheless, are you planning to pick up any of these? Plan out a budget shopping haul in the comments section below.

Will vouch for DOOM 64. Probably the best of the pre-DOOM 2016 games I've played to date. Great level design and atmosphere.
Psychonauts 2 is £16.99 at the moment on the store which is a huge discount if anyone is interested. Only available until tonight though!
I think both the Styx games at that price are absolute steals. Loved both of them proper stealth classics with some great level design.
Anyone with fond memories of the Sega Saturn shouldn’t overlook the Panzer Dragoon remake at that price. It’s a little undercooked, but still a great hit of nostalgia.
Anyone know if some of these deals are EU specific? For example been interested to try out Outcast 2nd contact but it is still showing 14.99 in the us store mobile app
i'm wondering if the quiet man is worth a shot at 2.39.. i know the reviews are bad but i don't know, the premise is interesting.
I feel that Broken Sword 5: Serpent's Curse deserves to be on this list, it'd like £1.49. I'm also interested in Code Vein for £7.49.
I'm going to go ahead and say that Homefront The Revolution is not that bad of a game. It probably disappointed when it first launched but for $2 it's actually a very competent game. An open world that isn't incredibly long and tedious to see the whole map completed like most modern games nowadays.
Tales of Zesteria is a bargin at £2.49 as well
@ATaco
Plus the DLC is actually good and If you know where to find it and know the code you can unlock the entirety of Timesplitters 2's campaign
There is some major bangers on here, Panzer Dragoon remake, Murdered Soul Suspect, both Styx games, and Outcast are all hidden gems.
