Thought you’d escaped the clutches of Black Friday with your wallet still intact? Well, don’t celebrate too soon, because Cyber Monday has arrived to test you once more. In addition to our full (and extensive) Cyber Monday 2022 guide, Sony has dropped almost 2,000 additional discounts on the PS Store today. These deals won’t expire until 21st December, which is presumably when its annual Christmas sale will begin.
What are some of the highlights, then? Well, admittedly, it’s a lot of familiar games, but the prices certainly sneak into impulse territory. For example, Kena: Bridge of Spirits is at its lowest price ever, at just £19.99/$19.99. Then, if you’re in the mood for some old 16-bit action, you can grab Sonic Origins for just £18.49/$19.99. Elsewhere, pretty much the entire Resident Evil catalogue is on sale, including the Raccoon City Edition bundle, which includes Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 for £12.49/$14.99. That’s a bargain!
If you’re in the market for a colourful open world to offset the winter blues, then Immortals: Fenyx Rising seems like a solid shout at £14.99/$14.99, and if you just can’t wait for the upcoming Unbound, we reckon Need for Speed Heat is a snip at £6.99/$6.99 – although it should be stressed that this one has been cheaper before. There’s a ton of DLC on sale, too, for titles like Tekken 7 and Dead by Daylight, so this could be a good opportunity to extend your existing games.
There are a ton of titles available for less than £1/$1, so if you’re on a budget, it’s worth digging deep into the PS Store and seeing what you can discover. Games like MXGP for £0.99/$2.99 aren’t a bad buy when you consider the price. In fact, if you’re a PS Plus subscriber, some of these discounts go as low as £0.25/$0.25. As always, let us know if you do decide to purchase anything in the comments section below, and as mentioned above, be sure to refer to our Cyber Monday guide for much more.

Arcade paradise is 15 very tempting
I love sale season.
Nothing for me, I've picked up FIFA (when I said I wouldn't) PGA 2k22 and The Cult of Lamb last week and Callisto Protocol and the NG upgrade for TW3 are on the Horizon so I'm keeping the wallet closed for this lot.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits is actually £16.49 on PS store if you don't get the digital deluxe edition.
I've yet to see anything I want to add right now, but Mass Effect Legendary Edition at £59.99 seems a steal, might pull the trigger on this 👀😂😂
immortals fenyx has been going for 8-10 physical.
PS deals are often worse for no reason
@stvevan oh, there's a reason. The only place you can buy digital for PlayStation is from the official store, there's no third party digital storefront, so they can charge whatever they like and we're stuck with it as there's no competition.
I've definitely had some great deals on great games digitally, but regular prices and sales are usually not competitive to physical overall, day to day, which is one frustrating part of converting to digital.
I just bought the standard version of Steelrising on sale at GameStop for $35 and go figure - now the Bastille Edition of the game is on sale for the same price. ALWAYS seems to work out like that! 🙄🙄🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽
@Ravix yeah theres a few good deals. but i know ive saved already by spending more on disc console.
(Turkish psn aside)
Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted Collection and Spiderman all going cheap. Great time to be a newcomer to the platform.
@Ravix Owning games ofcourse is cool, but Mass Effect is available with EA Play. For 59,99£ you could subscribe to it for 2 years and have some other EA older games too )
Man, it always feels bad when you buy a game on sale (or not on sale) only for it to be discounted further right after you bought it. I imagine it's a similar feeling to buying a game then getting it on PS+.
I bought Kena: Bridge of Spirits this past Friday as I wanted to play it and it was at its historical low price (per PSPrices.com). A few days later, a new historical low price. Doh!
Oh well. It's a delightful game.
Seen Yakuza 0 at £4.99 but when I remember using bicycles to fight and running all over the neighborhood ...sigh...Are we being serious in our suits or joking, are you going for realism or fantasy, almost as senseless as Far Cry 5. I see it makes for a good soap opera than enjoyable gameplay.
I grabbed Resident Evil 3 for £8. Played through it in one sitting and for that price I was very happy with it.
@Ravix a steal? lol. I found a physical copy for $10 somewhere and Steam usually has it for half of your 'steal' price.
@NeThZOR. I read that as sarcasm from @Ravix. Maybe I’m wrong.
@TheArt
Are you talking about the Yakuza franchise? AKA the greatest gaming series of all time?
@TheArt I thought that when I first saw a Yakuza game and wrote them off for years. Then I started Kiwami 1, got immediately charmed, and proceeded to play them all over the last 2 years…
@Stevemalkpus I see what you mean. It is not on sale on the store as far as I can see anyway.
@TheArt Yakuza 0 is a masterpiece, and a steal for that price
@NeThZOR obviously he's not being serious, mass effect legendary Edition standard sale price on PSN is down to £23.99
@ChrisDeku @NeThZOR @Stevemalkpus yes it was sarcasm. I picked a random old game I'm half interested in getting, to see if it was full price still, to make a point about the store. Just a bit bored of seeing old games for full price on PSN, sale or no sale, they need to adapt their storefront soon. The £59.99 full price is legit the only version I can see in the ps store app, which is just madness 😬😬
@Rob_230 @jrt87 @TheKramer89 @thefourfoldroot1 But bicycles to fight and awkward running animations...maybe one day.
Lost Judgement is on sale too
@JohntheRaptor
But not the DLC sadly. Refuse to pay such a stupid amount for the Kaito files.
@Ravix it will be at least 23.99 before the end of the holiday season, probably during the "Christmas Sale"
Poison Control looks like the best deal for me, at $5. Although I guess I should probably just buy the disc for 10x that since physical is always cheaper, right? ¯\(ツ)/¯
And STILL no sale on Elden Ring. After watching people get to buy the game on disc for $35 and STILL seeing it full price in the PS Store, I'm not buying it out of sheer annoyance. I know it isn't entirely Sony's decision, but they own the second most shares of the developer and EASILY could have influenced offering digital players a discount by now. It went on sale physically as early as May this year. There is ZERO defense for this practice besides pure GREED. It really makes me want to sell my digital PS5 and move on from Sony. Physical PS5 owners get access to every possible deal while costing Sony more money for manufacturing and shipping and hardware. Digital PS5 owners save Sony money on all of those things yet they charge them more how does that possibly make sense? There is absolutely no defense for the practice whatsoever. F*** every party involved in this problem. It's the most anti-consumer practice Sony has ever participated in, and to their sheer delight nobody is speaking out against them or demanding accountability. Bandai/FS/Sony, go ahead and keep Elden Ring. I wouldn't play it if it was a PS+ game at this point.

@SickofthisIsh should have saved a little longer for the disc version brother.. best of both worlds AND I can rent dvds whenever I want.. if one day the world as we know it comes to an end, there won’t be any internet to play these digital games.. I’ll have my physical collection and a generator while you are bored looking at your useless giant PS-Brick lol🤘🏻
@SickofthisIsh Lol since Elden Ring, all FromSoft's prices have gone up because they know people would be tempted to try the others. Business move, though annoying. I've been wanting Sekiro, sometimes I wanna rebuy Bloodborne even but they're all up in price. Same way I feel about GoT, price been high for so long I've kinda lost interest.
@TrickyDicky99 my d pad just went out after less than 6 months of moderate use.
I finally found my first PS5 (Digital 1200 series) a month ago at a Target in Colorado. The first two games I downloaded were Tales of Arise (on sale) and Kena: Bridge of Spirits (NOT on sale at the time).
I have really enjoyed Kena, am satisfied with my purchase at full price, and highly recommend it to anyone who thinks they might like it. It is as beautiful (and challenging) as the reviews that I read stated.
I have since picked up a few Black Friday sale games: Ratchet and Clank, Horizon Forbidden West, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Lego Star Wars. Have only played R & C so far, and am really enjoying it.
I went a bit nuts with the Black Friday PS Store sales, so I’m not sure what’s left to buy.
Still waiting for the Ghost of Tsushima PS4 to PS5 upgrade to go on sale, still $10. I know b/c I paid $10 yesterday to upgrade PS4 to DC, but it's still the full $10 to get the Japanese lip sync version, like the only thing NOT on sale on the whole store.🤑
