Dead Cells really is the gift that just keeps on giving, isn't it? Since it first launched back in 2018, developer Motion Twin has supported the excellent roguelike with both paid and free DLC updates (like Rise of the Giant, Bad Seed, and Enter the Panchacku). Next, players will be visiting Dracula's castle in an epic Castlevania crossover.
Featuring two all-new gothic biomes, 14 weapons of undeath destruction (including Castlevania staples such as the Vampire Killer, Throwing Axe and Holy Water), and a host of the newly-risen dead to contend with, Return to Castlevania sounds like a tantalising time.
While we don't have a precise release date just yet, Dead Cell's next DLC offering is slated to launch sometime in Q1 2023, so we won't have too much longer to wait. Wow a game inspired by castlevania that could actually be just as good as the legendary series itself. This looks really good and dead cells is one of my favorite games on my ps5..i'll have this.
Man I want this dev to make castlevania games, the linear types, metroidvania, and roguelike like dead cells 😃
Also dead cells is really good, I got it on ps5, switch, xbox, and steam deck. I wish there's cross-save so I don't have to replay each games from the beginning though, lol.
I don't really like Rogue's or Rogue-lite's but Dead Cells was good. Actually managed about 5-6 complete runs before getting bored.
Great crossoover.
I put Dead Cells ahead of Gungeon, but behind Isaac, in my trinity of most enjoyed Roguelik/t/es.
Can't wait for it. The support has been insane and the crossover stuff has been excellent.
Dead Cells is one of my most played games ever so, yeah, I'm super, super psyched!
