Jun Kazama has been missing in action since Tekken 2 — at least canonically. She did appear in Tekken Tag Tournament 2, but then that game had everyone. Anyway, the mother of Jin Kazama is back in Tekken 8, and she looks pretty damn cool. You can check out her serene fighting style in the game's latest trailer, which we've embedded above.
The trailer also gives us a look at a newly revealed stage, which whisks players away to a lovely looking forest. We've said it before and we'll say it again: Tekken 8 is a feast for the eyes.
It's highly likely that Jun will play a key role in the upcoming fighter's story, which focuses on the father-son clash between Kazuya and Jin.

She was a main in the second along side Law and Roger. They need to bring back the kangaroo.
Not a single reverse move? A strong physique? That's not (my) Jun.
@munkholt seems they're trying to reimagine her with a new style (that appears to involve timed ground explosions and an energy field?) To separate her from Asuka, who, for all intents and purposes, basically is and plays like Jun. Or like Jun used to, at least!

So in hindsight then, no one dies in Tekken and so you shouldn't care. Heihatchi didn't die after Tekken 1, Kazuya didn't die after Tekken 2, and now all of Ogre's supposed victims (one of them being Jun) before Tekken 3 didn't die either. I'm probably missing many more but the story is a load of junk in this series lets be honest.

@AFCC I suspect they're holding off on the release date until sometime around Summer (June).
Only time shall tell, but I also wouldn't be surprised if the game is dated for Late 2023 or sometime in 2024.
