If you didn't manage to snag a physical copy as part of Free Comic Book Day, then the Marvel's Spider-Man 2 prequel comic has been made available to read online worldwide. Click this link here to be taken straight to the special issue, where you can get caught up with Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and MJ. The online version transitions between each scene at the click of a button so it's easy to read.
Acting as a prequel to the PS5 follow-up, the comic features a villain new to the game's universe: The Hood. It also deals with the concept of magic and how the three main characters keep on finding themselves coming back to one another. If you've got a spare 10 minutes, then it's more than worth the read as we wait for the Marvel's Spider-Man 2 release date.

Got to be better than whatever the hell is going on with the 616 Peter.
Not free, telling me to pay for a subscription
Nice! Does it include commentary on chasing icons around the city to find over a hundred pack backs. Or the towers to reveal parts of the city they don't know how to navigate. I wonder if it shows where spidey puts all of his collectibles. Maybe a warehouse?
I wonder if he gets a wholesale deal for all of those backpacks.
@danzoEX Did you click on this? https://read.marvel.com/#/book/63125
I'm able to read the free issue, without having a subscription.
Eh, tie-in comics are always meh. This served its purpose I guess, now we know Jameson's gonna be a bigger presence and that scene where the tablet glowed blue got me thinking we'll be seeing some REAL magic in SP2. Dr Strange?
cool! ish like this makes me remember how fun and exciting comic books can be. thanks for sharing the link!
I'd want to talk about the villain in the comic but don't wanna spoil.
Spider-Man is just the best (no matter the iteration).
@KidRyan yep still shows a locked symbol and when I click read issue it brings up that I need to buy a subscription
@nessisonett I gave up ASM after the Beyond arc and cancelled my sub. The quality dropped massively after Nick Spencer left.
I should have stopped reading after the Kindred arc wrapped up but I've always been a fan of Ben Reilly so held on after it was hinted at him taking up the spider man mantle so held on a little while longer than I wish I had.
@Chaotic_Neutral The sad thing is that Spidey’s still written really well in other titles like when he showed up in that Daredevil issue recently.
Oh wow thanks!
Art is much nicer than I thought it would be. I'll read it in bed over the weekend.
@danzoEX I'd recommend contacting their customer service at this point.
Get rid of the miles and MJ segments and I'll buy it!
@Chaotic_Neutral
How do you think I feel after the way lowe "pooped" on Ben.
Then insults the fans of Ben.
Says Ben has NO place in the Spider-Man stories anymore.
THEN goes and lets slott introduce a NEW 616 spider.
i'm done with marvel until they get a brand new editorial and writing staff!
