A PlayStation-exclusive clip for the upcoming Across the Spider-Verse animated film has dropped, and while not quite so long as either of the two trailers we've seen previously, it's still a good bit of slapstick fun in its own right.
We see a new character, The Spot (played ably by Jason Schwartzman), using the interdimensional portals that cover his body to attempt to hijack an ATM whiles Miles makes himself a tasty treat. Hilarity and hijinks ensue, and we are treated to still more of that mesmerising art style.
Depending on your local region, Across the Spider-Verse is out imminently on 2nd June. Will you be swinging into cinemas to see it? Use your spiderlike powers to crawl vertically into the comments section below.

I'm going this Saturday with my oldest daughter. She's a big Spider-Gwen fan. So I'm hoping she's in Spider-man 2 for her, although I doubt it.
I've just had to Google ATM machine, it stands for automated teller machine
Rewatched the first one last weekend and then watched Quantumania. The difference in quality was flabbergasting. The first film was utterly superb.
Got tickets for the whole family for Friday. The first film is my favourite Spider-Man film of all time and one of the greatest animated films ever made
Can't wait for this movie, the first one was my favorite spiderman and superhero movie ever made( well, until DC finally decides to make a Kingdom Come animation adaption, with visuals that pays respects to the comics).
I am hyped for Spiderpunk and Spiderman 2099. I hope Silk makes a cameo, she is by far the coolest spiderwoman from the comics( and most attractive).
Anyway, I didn't like how Miles was goofing around with microwaving food(i know he probably payed for it off screen or will pay for it after the fight),before helping the shopkeeper, because it's leaving the shopkeeper in unneeded danger.
It reminds me of how Andrew Garfield Spiderman was goofing around with Rhino instead of taking him down immediately, which lead to unneeded collateral damage on the streets.
Spiderman not taking his villains seriously for comedic effect is fine, but if only it doesn’t put innocent people at risk. Tom Holland spiderman vs the robbers dressed as avengers, is a good example of how to do this.
@MoorePs5 the problem is people say “ATM machine,” which is redundant since the “m” stands for “machine.”
My son absolutely loved the first movie, but this is stated to be a two-parter. As I hate having no ending, this will wait until part 2 hits theaters. Then, I'll buy him part 1 on disc and we'll go see part 2 in theaters. So... another year?
@Uncharted2007 nothing beats seeing a film like this in a cinema. So would you have skipped empire strikes back and waited till return of the Jedi?
@Fuzzymonkeyfunk Yes. I'm going to the theater far less these days. I even skipped out on GotG 3 this time having seen the previous two in theaters as well as John Wick 4 and Dungeons & Dragons. I'd have loved to see all of them in theaters as the movie industry is finally picking back up, but I have little time and taking a family of five to the movies even for just the one movie would be $100+ a go. I'd have taken my wife to see John Wick 4, but she's not a fan of the theater. So it makes no financial or logical sense to see every movie I enjoy on the big screen.
For Spiderverse 2, it's simply the two-parter problem. I did the same with the Hobbit knowing it would be a trilogy, but I waited till the third was in theaters to bother watching the first. I got burned with the first Lord of the Rings, Matrix 2, and a few others. So I decided from then on, to simply wait for the story to be completed.
@Uncharted2007 understandable, I was just going to take my 2 sons to see it but the wife and youngest daughter want to see it too so it will be an expensive treat. Knocked imax on the head as it would have been £100 for all 5 so just going to the local cinema now which will cost me £30. Gotg vol3 was amazing and definitely the best in the series for me. James Gunn will be a big miss for Marvel and hopefully a big win for DC
@Odium Yes, it's like people saying "PIN number"
@Odium thanks I get that now I just didn't know what it stood for 😊
@Fuzzymonkeyfunk Yeah, I'm really looking forward to GotG3. It's my favorite Marvel IP.
@sanderson72 Beat me to it, I was about to say the same thing. Used to work in a bank, drove me mad haha
@sanderson72 sadly, I know far too many people who do that. Both are obnoxious.
@MoorePs5 glad to help
Just watched the clip, he actually says 'PIN number' too!
Looking forward to the movie, hoping to see it this weekend.🤗
