Ubsoft's annual Forward showcase is approaching, taking place on 12 June at 10 am PT / 6 pm BST, and we got a new sizzle reel promising impending gameplay for games we've had our eyes on for a while now. During the French publisher's time in the spotlight, expect to see live updates on games such as Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Assassin's Creed Mirage, and The Crew Motorfest, at the very least.
Publishers hosting their own individual showcases are, at this point, old hat. The week formerly known as E3 still remains a fertile time for exciting video game announcements, and we are sure to be eating well over the next week and a half.
Is there anything, in particular, you're hoping to see at Ubisoft's Forward event? Any potential surprises you're expecting to see? Let us know in the comments section below,

They've been very quiet lately unless I've missed anything?
I lost interest in Avatar once it was leaked to be a fps
With Assassins Creed and Avatar I'm pretty hopeful it will be a good show. My dream would be to see anything on Splinter Cell remake. I'd also like to see perhaps a launch window for XDefiant.
Ubisoft doesn't have any interesting upcoming kids games anymore.
Wake me up once they announced new Imagine or Petz games on PS5.
Beyond Good & Evil 2?
Even the parents of Ubisoft employees wouldn't watch this one live.
I wonder if we'll see or hear anything about that open world star wars game. I hope they don't mess it up and turn it into something generic. The did good though with Mario/Rabbids sparks of hope, great trpg.
This is cool. Ubisoft can be amazing when it wants to be. I'm hoping for another watch dogs game, maybe one set in the 90's.
Also, it just occurred to me that we could be getting Splinter Cell remake around the time of metal gear remake. That would be brilliant.
I'm loving the E3 vibes despite E3 not being alive anymore. Summer gamefest, Ubi showcase and then xbox, straight off the heels of Sony who revealed some pretty big hitters. Gotta admit, it's exciting to be a gamer right now =)
Hoping to see more about the scope and size of AC Mirrage, and somewhat hopeful we get a look at that Star Wars game.
Bit curious about what that Avatar game will play like. I don’t care about Avatar IP at all, but I would play a fun game if the fun, and there are various UBisoft formula takes (far cry/assassins creed) that could convince me to play the game even without interest on the source material. I have never played The Division, Ghost Recoon (however you spell that) or Rainbow Six so not sure if I would care about the game following if it ends up playing more like those.
Would also love to see a resurrection of Rayman in the form of an open-world platformer (think Bowsers Fury) but this is more of a dream than any realistic expectation.
@Korgon Same here, would love for a proper trailer of the Splinter Cell remake, even if there is no gameplay.
@Anti-Matter Ubisoft could always make a new Rayman entry? There's also the Mario x Rabbids spinoff franchise.
As a huuuuge "Avatar"-Fan, I'm very interested in the upcoming game, although I'm still worried. Not sure, why they choose a first-person-perspective, because I would imagine an adaptation to be very heavy on platforming. I think the main pull of the movies are their high level of immersion. So that should be the priority of the game. Maybe that's why they go with the ego-viewpoint. Can't bring myself to imagine that the story will be very interesting in the whole context of the "Avatar"-universe. It'll probably take place in the time between the second arrival of humans and the events in "The Way of Water". And that game has to be a real visual stunner. So they better deliver.^^
But I give it some faith, because I think Massive Entertainment is a good studio.
I don't believe for a single second, that we will see "Beyond Good & Evil 2" (ever again), though. Which is a huge shame. That game had a vision.
A nice PS5 patch for the ten year anniversary of Ass Creed: Blag Flag, please.
Wake me up when a non open world single player splinter cell reboot gets announced. Until then they can stick their radio towers and mission bloat up their assassins.
I'd be happy to hear some Division news.
I mean... i don't see a reason to. Their games are awfully boring, grindy and repetitive. I gave them so many chances already.
Avatar could be interesting, but avatar with AC open world formula sounds as bad as all other ubisoft open worlds.
A new Rayman would be ok. It's about the only thing they can still make that isn't total poo.
I am sure it won't a borefest as usual./s I won't be able to watch it on time and not saddened by that one bit. Might be the dullest AAA dev for sometime now. Their games just lack soul.
I’ll definitely be watching for the Avatar game. It looks like it could be Far Cry: Avatar but I’ll be more than happy with that. The Avatar lore is so rich and interesting, I really can’t wait to play this. It’s my most anticipated game.
I platinumed the PS3 Avatar game twice (on two different accounts) so this next gen visit to Pandora is a dream come true for me.
Spoiler, most of there games will be online required.
Embracer hasn't bought them out yet? AC is a dead franchise thanks to Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla. Not sure why I should even care about Mirage, a pointless reboot attempt to return to the series' roots, but they'll just turn around again and screw us over like they did after AC3? Ya no. Not falling for that trick again.
Do not care about Avatar.
Care even less about the Crew especially after what they did to the last few entries.
BG&E2 is likely a dead game, if it isn't it should be. PoP is in development hell, which I don't even know how that happens to a remake. Ubi has no interest in releasing anymore rayman. Splinter Cell is a dead franchise, good job with that ubisoft.
What are we left with X-Junk and a thousand GaaS games no one asked for. Where's Adam Jensen when you need him.
Time we acknowledge that Ubisoft in their pursuit of AAAA GaaS games, they've become a very C tier company.
3 games likely to be filled with microtransactions on top of all the mobile games they'll turn up with? No thanks.
Only ubi games I’m looking forward to are Assassins Mirage, a return to the old style is very welcome by me. But I’m mostly looking forward to The Crew Motorfest. I’m pining for anything to scratch my Motorstorm itch
