Immortals of Aveum, the breakneck Call of Duty-esque magic shooter from EA Originals, made one final push for launch during Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest today. The trailer showed plenty more magic-based machine gun action, and a few cinematics from the final release.
This debut effort from new studio Ascendant Studios is imminent now, with a PS5 release date slated for 20th July. How are you feeling about the outing now it’s been on display a handful of times? Let us know if you’re under its spell in the comments section below.

Game will be bugged af.
Those cut gameplay segments, EA, a month prior... lmao
I am sure it will be more fun than both Ghostwire&Forspoken. I love set-pieces.
Was not expecting the Never Have I Ever guy

Well, that's good news. 80 euros, though. Fiddle sticks. Definitely not buying day one.
I dunno what it is about this game, but it just doesn’t look good to me. When I see the description of the game in words, I’m intrigued, but every trailer and instance of gameplay they’ve shown has made me think this is probably a generic shooter with magic as a color of paint. I dunno. I can’t be the only one.
Bargain bin sale for me, or wait for PS+. I just don't trust their marketing.
I don't buy EA games on launch anymore. I wait three months or more after the apology tweet. This will be no different.
