Ever wondered what kind of nightmarish, extraterrestrial smoothy you could whip up with the disgusting liquids that barbarian Luke Skywalker was always chugging down? It might not actually taste that bad; as dedicated fans well know, George Lucas had a bad habit of making things sound worse than they actually are (see "Jizz" as an example of this, the specific kind of space-jazz employed by the Max Rebo band).
If your answer is (inexplicably) "yes", then you're in luck, as it appears that Star Wars Outlaws will feature some kind of cooking mechanic. This was teased by creative director Julian Gerighty on a San Diego Comic-Con panel, along with a warning for any ranidaphobiacs in the audience:
"There are a couple of surprises I don’t want to spoil. There is a particular predator on Toshara that is mind-blowingly cool. So if you have a fear of frogs, this might not be the game for you. It’s okay, it’s very rare. The second thing is that food is incredibly important to the world of Star Wars. And if you enjoy food and discovering alien concoctions, this is going to be an exciting experience for you."
