The advent of a country's certification rating doesn't always mean that a release date announcement is imminent, but when it comes to the elusive Granblue Fantasy: Relink, we'll take anything we can get. Cygames' PS5 and PS4 action RPG has been in launch date limbo for nigh on an eternity, but an official rating in Australia (as spotted by Gematsu) could suggest that we're finally getting some numbers in the near future.
Relink still has a winter 2023 release window attached to it, and if it really is going to make it out this year, then we'll obviously need a date sooner rather than later. This rating could well be a sign of incoming news. Hey, we can dream!
Previously, Cygames stated that it would have more info to share on Relink in August, which is obviously just a week away at the time of writing. The development team also said that the project was just about wrapping up, so there's reason to believe that it won't be pushed back again.
Oh, and it's been rated PG, just in case you were wondering.

Every month is getting crowded, maybe early or late November, or December is pretty open
The announcements don't stop these days.
Any date in 2023 will do. This is a Christmas morning game for me, alongside Stellar Blade. 🙏🙏🙏
Winter 2023 narrows it down to one month, December. Which seems to be a pretty quiet month for new releases.
EVO’s coming up soon and I’m betting on us getting a Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising release date then. Maybe they might hit us with the double.
Lol doesn't matter anymore. I lost interest in the game. This would've been cool years ago. Now it will just be a drop in the bucket. We got loads of these action jrpg games since.
"year of production 2024" with things like that do they take into account the actual year or the financial year?
Man we've got more articles on this games supposed release timing than the actual game itself
I've been waiting for this one for so long, can't wait
@UltimateOtaku91 Winter 20xx is the weirdest period of time because you'd think 'Ah, yes, back end of December!' But NO! Could be any time up the back end of March the following year...
Which is why I'll always prefer the Quarter 1-4 method of release periods.
