Good news for fans of stabbing corrupt historical figures: Assassin's Creed Mirage will now release a week earlier than anticipated. Alongside news that the game has gone gold β meaning that it's ready to be shipped β Ubisoft confirmed that the launch date has been pushed forward, to the 5th October, 2023. It was previously set for the 12th October.
The new date means that Mirage has more time to breathe before Marvel's Spider-Man 2 drops on the 20th October β which is probably a good thing. It also establishes a nice little gap between itself and the likes of Lords of the Fallen (13th), Disgaea 7 (13th), and Alan Wake 2 (17th). October's looking pretty good, isn't it?
Are you looking forward to Assassin's Creed Mirage? Does the new release date maybe work out better for your schedule? Get your hidden blade, er, hidden in the comments section below.

Smart move. The game needs to get as far away from the Spider-Man (& Mario) sized black hole of sales as possible
Awesome! I may have time to finish this before Alan Wake and Mario after all!
Good this will give me enough time to finish it before Spider-Man 2 comes out.
Heck yeah! I'll gladly play earlier than expected! Really excited for Mirage!
Oh nice a day before pay day.
Just making headway on my backlog and October is going to ruin it. Still good problem to have. Lol.
I approve! Canβt wait to play.
So it will basically be a day-8 patch.
Wow. Ubisoft not only got a game out, but it's coming earlier? Hell must have frozen.
Can't wait to see the potential state this launches in.
N.i.c.e. assassins creed mirage looks really good.word up son
This is great. I'm sure the game will be awesome!!
I'll wait a bit until reviews drop. Lots of things were promised... but it is still Ubisoft. I expect some form of betrayal.
I'm quite excited about this one. Be nice to play a smaller, more early assassin's creed gameplay. I went back to Assassin's creed 2 fairly recently and it's still quite fun to play. Be nice for that style of gameplay to come back but with more modern mechanics thrown in
so is this one the live service grind fest or a proper title? still confused by that
Good to see and it will definitely help sales, but it remains to be seen whether it matters for me personally. I was planning on waiting on this until later on given that Spider-Man 2 was coming out 8 days later. It really depends on how long the game really is whether I now get it early or not. I'm not able to rush through games like some other people can, so if I think there's any chance I won't be able to get it done, I will still likely wait until Christmas. I'd rather not end up trying to rush through it.
I'm calling a 7/10 on this one
Soon I'll be finishing FFXVI and still unsure if I want to platinum it. But this is great because the only game I am interested in this fall so far is AC: Mirage. I haven't finished Spiderman or Miles Morales so I rather focus on different games until I can come back around to Spiderman.
@JalapenoSpiceLife its more like syndicate , ac3 and black flag , then origins / odyssey , its not an rpg if thats what you are asking.
Iβm fine with this.
If it's "pushed forward", shouldn't it then be "pulled back"? The release date has been pulled back.
@twitchtvpat so it's linear, like the old titles, i will keep an eye out then and see how the reviews go
@JalapenoSpiceLife if you liked the older games i'd 100% check this out. im super excited for it. also i like ur user name , Jalapeno's are the best.
I'll wait and see how it turns out and even if its great its a sale title for me. I've already lined up lies of p and lords of the fallen and baldurs gate 3 is looking as though its going to take up my winter months. Even though baldurs gate 3 is not the kind of game i play i will think outside of the box on this title and try something different.
