Not to be outdone, Ubisoft is apparently getting in on the animated arms race currently underway on streaming service Netflix, and in a rather surprising way. Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix is an imaginative take on the larger Ubiverse, and it's headed for Netflix alongside the just-announced Devil May Cry and Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft animated outings. Unlike the others, this one has a date, so expect things to get increasingly bizarre from 19th October.
Join Dolph Laserhawk's revolution in a world full of familiar Ubisoft characters, although many have endured gritty reboots. We spotted Rayman, a couple of characters from Beyond Good & Evil, and apparently, even Assassin's Creed's Altair reimagined as a frog for some reason. It looks just crazy enough to do Blood Dragon justice, but we'll have to wait and see how it all comes together.
What do you think of this latest onslaught of Netflix animated offerings? What's your take on this unexpected look at a greater Ubisoft multiverse? Keep a tenuous grasp of reality in the comments section below.

Why wouldn't you just do an straight forward animated adaption of Far Cry Blood Dragon? The audience is already there. I just look at this and am just...confused.
This show definitely does look interesting, but Ubisoft, please stop teasing us with Rayman and just release Rayman Electric Boogaloo or something idk I just want a new Rayman game.
Frog.
Was hoping for more of an 80s VHS vibe, but it does look like a fun short binge.
@PegasusActual93 Blood Dragon’s plot is purposefully paper-thin, they’d have to stretch it to oblivion.
@nessisonett
I don't necessarily mean adapt the games plot verbatim but tell new stories in that universe. Make it episodic, the audience and the foundation are already there. People have been begging for an actual Blood Dragon sequel for 10 years now.
Anything involving Bobbypills as a studio deserves your attention! this will be nuts!
Ray man looking good in his new job I think we found Jim Ryan's replacement 😆
