Sand Land is an upcoming PS5 and PS4 RPG published by Bandai Namco and developed by ILCA (I Love Computer Art), which is how you know we're in good hands. Previous efforts include excellent turn-based titles like Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age and One Piece Odyssey, which has been eschewed here for something more action-based.
An adaptation of Akira Toriyama's classic manga of the same name, we got a new story trailer, giving us our best look yet at the narrative setup. It follows an unlikely group of companions journeying through a world destroyed by hubris. A Human sheriff, a demonic thief, and the Fiend Prince, Beelzebub, join forces to find the "Legendary Spring" and restore water to this arid, thirsty world.

What do you think of Sand Land? Are you down for a dusty adventure? Get geared up in the comments section below.

This game's coming to PS5 AND PS5? Those are my two favorite consoles!
@Enuo
Looks a lost like One Piece Odyssey, but action instead of turn based. I'm up for it.
I'm really excited for this. I kind of think Xbox might nab it for Gamepass....is it coming to xbox? I hope it doesn't go to GP, weird as that sounds seeing as I'm a subscriber, I want to buy it for my PS5. I have a strict rule, Xbox for gamepass, PS5 for purchased games. I worry Xbox might leave the hardware business and so don't wanna waste my cash on buying games. I know this is a bit irrelevant but if Xbox did leave gaming (Phil Spencer said it might happen in 2027) what will happen to the studios they have? Will they come to PlayStation?
Sorry, back on topic. This game reminds me of what gaming is about, it just feels so PlayStation, kind of gives me Tomba vibes.
I just saw it's coming to xbox. Well, I'll be buying it on PS5 unless.It goes to Gamepass. Wow though, this game looks right up my alleys (that sounds wrong haha)
This game looks great! I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun. One of my most anticipated!
Gonna hold off until a sale on this, as dragon quest 11 wasn't the best and not played one piece odyssey but heard it was super easy
Lumping Dragon Quest 11 with One Piece Odyssey and this game as a ILCA game seems ingenuine. DQ11 is game developed and published by Square Enix. I could only find a few vague notes online about ILCA contributing to the game. Granted all 3 games look visually similar, but all 3 are going very much for a manga inspired look, with Toriyama being directly behind 2 of the 3.
All that to say, I think this looks like it could be quite good.
