Just as the wait for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 began to feel interminable, a new cinematic trailer dropped seemingly out of the ether. In it, we are reminded that no matter the odds, together, we can overcome anything.
It's a surprisingly sad scene, replete with flashbacks to tragic moments from each respective Spider-Man's past. As the twosome contends with Venom, Peter and Miles have emotional internal monologues as property damages steadily mount.
Realising that the two of them could be greater if they were to work together, Venom appears to be on the verge of defeat before the scene abruptly fades to black. We'll have to wait until 20th October, when Marvel's Spider-Man 2 launches exclusively on PS5, to find out how this particular story ends.

Do you believe that teamwork does make the dream work? Do you need to see any more from Insomniac's latest, or are you well and truly sold? Let us know in the comments section below.

Man this game is going to be huge.
Still looks like a movie trailer, but it's a game apparently ...
Less than 3 weeks to go....
For this game alone is worth it to buy a PS5
Aaaaaaaagh that was amazing. Such a wonderful trailer. I can't wait to play this in summer.
Really loved the previous be greater trailer for the original game as well. Think I'm gonna watch this trailer a 4th time now😂. So much emotion packed in 1 min alone.
10 Million sold in the first week is my prediction.
Venom whooping Spider-Man's @$$, the way it should be. Yeah buddy!
Man oh MAN am I excited for this game.
As far as "who" Venom is in this Universe, my thoughts are either Kraven to make the transformation. Or, perhaps, Harry Osborn.
Saw this during at least 1 of the football games this weekend, movie caliber greatness. 👍
@Netret0120 Only Nintendo or multiplat games can manage that number. Reaching over 5 million would be a huge success.
I am sure another emotional story coming up. Pre-order for me.
