Marvel's Spider-Man 2 hasn't even been out a week, which hasn't stopped tens of thousands of players from picking up the Platinum Trophy already. Others have been testing the title's limits and learning the gruesome fate of characters seemingly killed offscreen. WARNING: VAGUE SPOILERS for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 to follow!
Considering he got such a good showing in the first Marvel's Spider-Man and even Miles Morales, many players wondered what happened to Rhino and why he failed to make a proper appearance in the sequel. It appears that Kraven fancied a spot of big game hunting as a pre-game warm-up, judging by the grisly trophies discovered in a cut developer test room.
Redditor Clkzin managed to get out of bounds and use the camera to access what looks like a test room containing a throne and the mounted, severed heads of several Spider-Man villains, with Rhino's taking pride of place. The other heads appear to belong to Shocker, Vulture, and Scorpion, without the proper textures. We see Scorpion's fate on-screen in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, but it can be surmised that Kraven murdered Vulture, Electro, and Shocker off-screen based on items and comments made during the mission Good Men (thanks, IGN).
