Twitter Wants to Dramatically Improve PS5, PS4's Integration

Sony should make Musk pay for the X integration. 10M$ per month)

I'm interested to see how this turns out. Honestly it seems like X could use PS more than the other way around right now. Negotiations should be interested, although we'll never hear about it after this.

@Shepherd_Tallon it's not that the past did is elon fault, it's that now, less and less people and businesses care about Twitter and a lot of that is Elon fault. I have to be logged in to see replies? Me personally, that's dumb.

Whether it happens or not I think Sony needs it to promote their 5 upcoming GaaS games and the 5 after that. What’s the point of the controller having a Share button if you can’t? That’s TV button on the Wii U level of incompetence.

It's called X now though why put it in the headline of the article as twitter? I know it says x formerly known whatever but shouldn't the headline have the actual name of the platform? Such weird energy on this site when it comes to this subject

@TheCollector316 The people that use Twitter and those who formally owned it drove it into the ground hence why it has the reputation it has on par with reddit as the joke of the internet that only losers use

Kind of late to talk about doing new things with someone when they’ve already dumped you and kicked you out of the house. But it’s the wisdom wizard at twitter so fully expected

I hate the name X. Change it back to twitter. I don't use much of other social media. I use tiktok the most, but that's mainly for watching or posting videos. Twitter was good for posting just texts, as other socials don't let you do that. If there is another social media app that is like twitter, I'd consider using that. I don't like X and I don't like elon musk. So yeah, I wanna move to a new one.

I actually enjoy using X and the algorithm works way better than Facebook and Instagram, so to see recommended Playstation content and possible streams of games I've never played would be cool.

I don’t think Twitter is a stable business partner to warrant integrations. If I were Sony I would focus on integrations with larger, more relevant, more stable social networks and sharing platforms.

The less X the better. Elon is a toxic individual, and is happily encouraging hatred, abuse, racism, sexism, misinformation etc… on his platform

@Cycologist I like Twatter like the first reply said. Seems like a fitting name.

I didn't use the integration much, but it was handy for sharing the occasional screenshot or video clip if something funny or unexpected happened in a game. I did have it set up to post platinum trophies as well.

I'll miss the convenience as using the app is more clunky. I hope they come to some agreement to keep it, but I won't lose any sleep if they don't.

As for X/Twitter itself, I still use it, but less than I did... mostly because they blocked 3rd- party apps on mobiles and started charging for TweetDeck on desktop. I don't like the official app or website because of the way they keep messing with your feed and showing you what the algorithm thinks you'd like to see.
