We all know Hideo Kojima loves movies, and often he’ll try to present his games in the same way as his favourite flicks. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is no different, as evidenced by this selection of movie posters featuring stars Norman Reedus, Leah Seydoux, and Elle Fanning. Of note, director Fatih Akin has lent his likeness as the puppet from the latest trailer, although the character will be voiced by Jonathan Roumie.
There are still other characters to be revealed, of course – for example, we know Shioli Kutsuna will play a major role in the release, but she’s yet to appear in any of the trailers. With the game not due out until 2025, though, we’re sure Kojima has another couple of immaculately edited trailers up his sleeve before launch.

I like a lot of things in this but the doll and the... mask in form of hands is just too goofy for me and Death Stranding definitely has its goofy moments. Although the doll seems like Kojima is taking inspiration from GoW with Mimir.
@Nepp67 the puppet stop-motion style movement is so dope though
@IamJT It is, I cant deny that! lol
Ultimate cringe-fest..not my cup of tea for sure..the original was the fastest game i dropped ever.
Norman Reedus & the Feetus: All Grown Up
This is unapologetically more Death Stranding, for better or worse. I finished the first game and I barely understand what's going on in the trailer. Then again I barely understood what was happening while playing it too.
I love weird ***** and Hideo delivers it in spades. Can't wait to step into this world again.
Guitar player fighting with his guitar is a little bit too parody for my taste...
even i broke as ... I probably buy this game on day1.
@zebric21 I understand it's not your cup of tea, but what do you find cringe about it exactly? Not a loaded question. Genuinely curious.
@TheIdleCritic I think the game tries really hard to get noticed and just be weird with no obvious reason. I would say that it hit's bollywood movie levels.
Absolutely going to be GotY 2025 for me.
