Capcom has published a player survey for Dragon's Dogma 2. It asks for opinions on various aspects of the game, including what you like and dislike about it. But the most interesting question comes right at the end, which reads: "Would you be interested in purchasing DLC for Dragon's Dogma 2, if additional contents were to be released?"
Now, we're going to assume that Capcom is leaning more towards expansions here, rather than an additional offering of unnecessary microtransactions. After all, the original Dragon's Dogma was massively enhanced by the Dark Arisen expansion, which added a huge endgame dungeon to the experience. When people refer to the game as a cult classic, it's probably with Dark Arisen in mind.
So, if you want to see Dragon's Dogma 2 branch out in similar fashion, you might as well let Capcom know. You can find the survey through here, and it's open until the 21st April.
In the meantime, Capcom's already promised a slew of updates for the base release. The developer aims to improve the title's rather lacking technical performance, and implement graphics options.
Would you like to see a Dark Arisen-style expansion for Dragon's Dogma 2? Or maybe you're still plenty busy with the base game? Delve into the depths of the comments section below.

I'd like it to not run like s**t, please. Not that concerned about anything else they want to try and sell me right now.
Bitterblack Isle 2.0 please.
Patch this thing up and then let’s talk
Kinda feel like they’re shooting themselves in the foot.
@BeautifulCreatures from what I've read throughout the internet, DD2 is heavy on CPU, not GPU and rumors suggest PS5 Pro won't improve it that much. So, even though many other game will supposedly benefit from better GPU and run at higher frame rate, I doubt that DD2 will reach stable 60 FPS this gen.
@Tomato_Goose it can be better optimised. The frame rates not the best but it doesn't break the game
@Frmknst You clearly have no clue. Oled tvs are unbearable with low frame rates.I refuse to play anything at 30fps with my lg oled.
@Tomato_Goose
Yes I have heard this as well, dam developers need to sort themselves out.
I haven’t purchased the game because of this, so they won’t get my money, until they optimise better and sort other bugs and options out.
My new approach for a while now has developers can’t release game in a good state. Is wait until it’s fixed with patches and buy cheap and probably second hand, then they still don’t get my money.
I know I’m only one person but they need to be brought to justice.
I wouldn't mind some substantial DLC that expands the story or the map areas.
@Frmknst It's okay that you don't know what refresh rates are on different panels; not everyone does. DG2 as of now is not just 30fps, it's herky jerky 30fps; even the motion blur does little to dampen this. Capcom says patches are on the way apparently.
Wont even play the base game till they get some kind of optimisation in place. Whatever the framerate, it needs consistency, and without it I'm simply never going to play it - there are far to many other titles which run better and I'll enjoy playing.
I'll probably play this in a couple of years when I get the full thing with all DLC for £20 and its as fixed as its gonna be...
@darylb24 Same, same, this game has been a lot of fun with its gameplay and exploration. Although it could do with lowering the enemy density by a bit. It's not difficult, but it's a bit annoying encountering an enemy almost too frequently.
@Titntin it's really nowhere near as bad as its being made out to be.
Is that a sign of the times of what the gaming industry has become? They release a broken game with a technical quality we haven't seen in decades, and they are thinking about a DLC to make money. It's surreal, the priority should be fixing the game for people who bought it !
@B0udoir Relax, it's not just one person working on this game.
@Northern_munkey
Hope you are enjoying it mate, I hear great things 👍
But Im in a position where Im playing some fantastic games already with litrally over a dozen titles Im really keen on playing/finishing already. Im not dropping all them to play this game whilst its clearly not as optimal as it will be. It makes more sense to pick it up once Ive caught up the backlog a bit and Im likely to get it cheaper too. It will have a more stable performance by then, so if this is an 'all timer', Ill get to enjoy it a little better too...
@Titntin I really hope you eventually get to play this and enjoy it as much as I am. There are a lot of great games to be played at the mo and I deliberately avoided started anything too in depth because I knew this would take up my spare time.
@Nepp67 Getting to the capital in the Bakbattahl region on the main roads is a nightmare! I have to get some +10 levelled pawns just to cope and I was at Level 29. I also went off the main path where I could. I still died like 3 times!
