Rise of the Ronin is out for PS5 as an exclusive next week, which means Sony has given it the usual flashy launch trailer treatment, blending live-action footage with cutscenes taken from the game. Clocking in at exactly one minute, you can check the trailer out above ahead of the 22nd March 2024 release date.
Before launch, we'll bring you our full PS5 review, but until then we have a Preview piece focusing on the first four hours of the game. So far, we have found the experience to be "consistently decent to good", but it doesn't make that step up in quality during the opening few sequences. "While some elements certainly show promise, the four hours of play this preview affords us to discuss publicly aren't hitting on the same level as other PS5 exclusives."

Rise of the Ronin launches on the same day as Dragon's Dogma 2, so it's already facing stiff competition. Which game will you choose to play? Share your pick in the comments below.

Demo please, Team Ninja?
I'm wary on this, gonna wait for a review.
They should have included a demo for this game.
N.i.c.e. both dragon dogma 2 and rise of the ronin looks amazing.a lot of good video games this year.word up son
I have been waiting for like 12 years for DD2.
Definitely waiting after previews have suggested a pretty Mundane gameplay loop, story and shaky performance considering the visuals. Oh and that awful gear system is back which is my primary negative with these team ninja titles.
Sounds like some steep discount fun though.
Skill up not too impressed with this
Day one for me! Enough trailers, release the game already
Had this pre ordered and it’s been my most anticipated game but I’m really on the fence with it now. Gonna wait for some reviews and gameplay.
Day one for me as well. Skill Up can complain all he wants about it not being Nioh 3, it makes absolutely no difference to me.
Neat trailer. Counting down the days now!
Can't wait! Glad I got a PS5 with these barrage of exclusives.
@KundaliniRising333 That gear system in Team Ninja games is actually good and Team Ninja have never disappointed with gameplay or combat so I expect them to be good.
@TrickyDicky99 Nah, you mean it'll be on PC by next year because all PS5 exclusives eventually go there.
@Sifi The preview says it's good. Lol
Yesterday when I turned on my PS5 my pre-ordered RotR Deluxe edition pre-downloaded to my PS5.
Annoying as hell seeing the gameicon and can't start it until late next week!! The torture!! LOL!!
