After the PS5, PS4 ports of Xbox game Pentiment rather unceremoniously had their Platinum Trophies titled incredibly simply as "PlatinumTrophy", the next Microsoft game coming to Sony systems thankfully won't release with the same cock-up. The Hi-Fi Rush Trophy list is live now on Exophase, and its Platinum Trophy is appropriately named "I've gone platinum!".
The list is made up of 72 Trophies altogether, which cover the base game and the Arcade Challenge update, something that's bundled in with the PS5 version. Since developer Tango Gameworks was launching PS5 games as soon as 2022 in Ghostwire: Tokyo, it appears the studio hasn't lost the chops for correctly naming its Platinum Trophies.
Hi-Fi Rush releases for PS5 on 19th March 2024, with both a standard version and Deluxe Edition offering a 10 per cent discount for PS Plus members. You can get bonus digital goodies like extra outfits and t-shirts for main character Chai, alternate skins, and a starter pack for an extra £10/$10.
Will you be trying to unlock the better-named Platinum Trophy in Hi-Fi Rush? Let us know in the comments below.

What an odd thing to complain about.
I find it ironic this is the PS5 game I’ve been most excited about.

Pentiment's case may be straightforward to the point of chuckleworthy, but a "slip up"? Talk about first world issues.
@GeeForce
Are they not to report on it just to save the trillion dollars companies feelings or something?
@MrGawain There’s nothing wrong with that, though! I played the game on day one when it released on Xbox and it’s an amazing game. I’ll more than likely pick it up on PlayStation.
Gotta give Obsidian credit. They corrected there mistake and updated the main tile to the cover art. Which looks a helleva lot better.
I absolutely can’t wait for this game Ive been wanting to play it since it came out on Xbox. This and Dragons Dogma 2 gonna make a good week ahahah

@inverseIV We've just given Pentiment an 8/10, and Persona 3 Reload a 9/10 before that. We're also really excited to play Hi-Fi Rush. This perspective makes no sense.
@ShogunRok does a Persona game really count honestly though..? Feels like a ps franchise still for the most part lol… Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment aren’t games that released simultaneously as well… there’s been numerous times the review here has been exactly one point less than the Xbox review on the same day for a game pass game… Anyways… still lots of kind of immature fanboy articles on here quite often… still enjoy the site… I’ve been on here for years… I honestly lean more towards PS these days… but I really don’t get this feeling as much on the Xbox site. Just my opinion.
@inverseIV I xhecked the Xbox site a few times and i have to disagree it seems worse with some articles. 🤣
@Flaming_Kaiser @inverseIV I think that's just part of being a PlayStation website (or an Xbox website!). We're naturally fans of that brand — otherwise we wouldn't be here.
But I can honestly say here and now, a game being on Game Pass, or being a port from another console, has never factored into any review I've written. Obviously can't speak for the other writers here, but I'd assume it's the case for all of us!
I do get your concerns, though.
@ShogunRok I’m a massive fan of both the sites.. don’t want to give you the wrong impression lol… I guess I just really hate fanboy related content… I get it though… you do have an particular audience to entertain as well.
@ShogunRok I meant the guests/users in general with this but i guess he meant the writers from the site which i don't agree with. I think that goes quite well and in the end we all can have a little bit of a personal opinion.
