Square Enix has confirmed a glitch in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth blocking players from unlocking the Platinum Trophy will be addressed in the RPG's next update. Currently, a side quest called Can't Stop Won't Stop isn't registering high scores in the G-Bike arcade minigame, which is required to unlock the Platinum Trophy and progress other missions near to the end of the game. The publisher hasn't said when the PS5 patch will arrive, but presumably, it'll be available soon.
"We’re aware of an issue stopping progress in the “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” sidequest," the Final Fantasy VII Twitter page wrote. "This is scheduled to be fixed in the next patch. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused."
The glitch became part of the game following its previous update, and while there is a workaround for physical owners of the game (you have to delete and reinstall to the 1.0 version), digital players had no chance of unlocking the Platinum Trophy. The next PS5 patch will get things sorted, Square Enix states.

Good good.
I have only one other thing left that I can do before having to use chapter select again, which would reset my progress on this quest.
Hopefully this doesn't take too long.
Perfect timing. I'm almost at Chapter 11. I've been hoping this would be fixed before I get much further.
Well there goes my excuse of why I can't platinum Rebirth. Either I gotta git gud or figure out another excuse.
Hmm, glad I didn’t start it at release now 😅… might even run a little better by the time I eventually get to it too 🤞
Thank god, I took a break from Rebirth right at the start of the Golden Saucer to play smaller backlog games so knowing I can start again without any worries soon is a relief.
"an issue stopping progress in the “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” sidequest"
They should rename the sidequest to "Can Stop Will Stop"
Still can’t get over Chadley. Like… Bradley but for Chad. Insanity.
Nice! I will have to reload my save from just before the point of no return, but damn that means I need to go fight all those Tonberry's as part of that quest too. ugh.
They should also give you the option to lower the difficulty in all mini games.
@belmont they do tbf, a lot of them are easier on easy difficulty. The only way they're difficult is the hard versions of them and that's only if you want the platinum. And with the brutal and legendary combat sims the minigames are the least of the worries.
@JaBrony123 For the Tonberries just equip an accessory that prevents instant death. They become pretty easy that way.
@Andy22385 The ones that are pain are the 3D brawler and the push ups thing.
@colonelkilgore Ironically, this quest worked just fine at release, then they botched it in a subsequent patch somehow. I and many others got the platinum weeks ago because we cleared the quest before they did.
@belmont brawler is simple if you pause. Just need to learn which animation is which putting. The sit ups were a nightmare. They're by far the hardest minigame in the game for me
