The ridiculously good Dave the Diver is coming to PS5 and PS4 in just a few short days, on 16th April, and available via PS Plus Extra, no doubt ensuring it will make a splash. If you still don't know what the fuss is about, we got a PS5-specific "Immersion" trailer, which shows how the game takes advantage of the DualSense features we've come to expect.
A truly bizarre concept, players must manage their time between diving for delicious foodstuffs found deep beneath the sea and returning in time for the dinner rush, moonlighting as manager of the hottest sushi joint in town. With ridiculous, laugh-out-loud characters and concepts, wonderful minigames, and one of the more deviously addictive gameplay loops we've experienced, thankfully, we don't have much longer to wait.
What do you think of Dave the Diver? Will you be dipping a toe in the water? Let us know in the comments section below.

I'm here for the Godzilla DLC. Only reason I want to play this game.
Excited for this one, The Life Aquatic fan in me needs boat games.
I don't really like indie game after recently playing vampire survivors and Dave the diver after all the hype.....
I didn't like either and still don't really like indie games 😅
I'm going to be all over this one, might even pick up a sushi lunch that day too.
Reminds me of Scuba Diver on the Spectrum back in the 80s. 10-year-old me loved that. I can't wait.
@Stickleman So you don't like Baldur's Gate 3?
@DennisReynolds there's a difference between games like BG3 and cyberpunk 2077 for example and actual indie games.... Not even comparable 🤷.
@Stickleman Indie isn't a style of games it just means independent and didn't have a backing of a publisher. Fun fact BG3 is actually more of an indie game then Dave The Diver is.
Why do games still want to use our controller as a speaker? I use headphones and almost never hear anything out of the controller.
