Operation Swift Disassembly was a total success, with casualties, while appalling, still well within acceptable margins. Helldivers 2 players crushed the vicious machines in an all-out assault over the weekend, landing on and liberating the last occupied planets offering any resistance. The Galactic War map is currently looking quite empty, perhaps even ominously so. But what is there to worry about now that the Automatons are gone and the Terminids are contained?
According to the latest dispatches from High Command, Super Earth still has work for us. Construction of new, safer, more efficient E-710 farms has begun. Here, Terminids will be raised in safe, humane, spacious enclosures and enriched with state-of-the-art nutrient supplements, all under careful supervision. Helldivers will be tasked with clearing space for these vital farms.
Intercepted machine chatter concerning "The Reclamation”, the impetus for Swift Disassembly in the first place, which warned of an enemy threat on an unimaginable scale, appeared to have been nothing more than enemy propaganda. Out of an abundance of caution, SEAF teams will continue to search what remains of Automaton facilities and servers for any additional intelligence.
Where were you the day the Helldivers rid the galaxy of the Automaton threat for good? In the comments section below, look forward to a brighter tomorrow.

We did it ! time to fight dinosaurs
New enemy faction incoming
Rid Super Earth's galaxy of the bots but they're not defeated... They're still out there, probably amassing their forces to make a sweeping invasion!
Also - we've had bugs on the Eastern side of the galaxy map, and bots on these West, but what's going to fill the North and South?
@Mortal Asking the real question!
It's an honour to fight for democracy
Can't wait to see what the devs have in store. My buddies and I have been having a blast playing it.
I want to know why "feeding the Terminids" and farming them is a good idea. I smell imminent mutations. Sounds like fun!
@Khayl
It was lovely teaming up with you to kill those who hate our right to vote.
Lol what the heck is going on? 😅 I just started playing the game and I don't understand how the "war effort" works. My buddies and I were still getting annihilated by automotons late last night.
@The_Wailing_Doom it was my honour to fight alongside you 🫡
Late into Saturday night myself and deadonfred had our very own equvilant of hamburger Hill. We fought valiantly but ultimately succumbed to the automaton menace that threatened the very core of democracy. Damn good laugh though but not when 2 drop ships hovered directly above me and dropped about 4 big ass devastators and something else I didn't really see because I was murdered instantly..🤣
@Frmknst It's reasonably priced and great fun.
@Frmknst maybe you're too young to understand #Starshiptroopers
@Frmknst
If you have nothing useful to add, just STFU.
@Frmknst I would of payed more if I knew it was this good. In fact I've bought credits just to support the devs, even though I don't really need them. Like a tip
Well done fellow soldiers, bring on the Alien race, Democracy will conquer all ✊
Well, that's it - bots destroyed, bugs contained, nothing left to do. Game was fun while it lasted but I guess the players were just too good.
@Frmknst Hmm you sound like a bug sympathiser. I’m going to have to report you to my local democracy officer.
Lol only jesting - you should totally pick the game up it’s well worth it, the immersion is second to none and it’s so much fun blasting bugs legs off and raining down explosions on them.
@The_Wailing_Doom They wanted to destroy our way of life and we destroyed them. For freedom 👍🏻
Gotta make way for all those Jan Sixers to storm Super Earth.
@Frmknst how do you know what the experience is like if you’ve not played it? don't say YouTube as watching a video never ever equates to being able to hold a valid opinion on a game
@The_Wailing_Doom What's this "right to vote" of which you speak? Sounds like dissident thought to me. Every true citizen knows that, under managed democracy, you answer a few questions on your preferences on the Galactic Wide Web and then a Super Computer totally votes for you based on an algorithmic process. That way citizens can be assured that their true vote is captured.
@Balie3000 It's like a tactical map that all players are working on, pushing the "supply lines" closer, to take out fallen planets, etc. You'll pick it up pretty quick, but maybe it's a bit more tricky in the midst of a full-scale galactic assault, haha.
