When Limited Run Games announced that it was bringing a remaster of the original Tomba! to PS5 and PS4 as Tomba Special Edition, many of us were left wondering whether the second game, Tomba! 2, would get the same treatment. After all, the sequel was also very well received back on the PS1, featuring evolved mechanics and some more ambitious level design.
Fortunately, it's now been confirmed that Tomba! 2 will join its predecessor on Sony's current systems. It doesn't have a release date yet, but you can watch the announcement video above.
The aforementioned Tomba Special Edition arrives on PS5 and PS4 on the 1st August, and we assume that its sequel won't be that far behind.
