Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred, the action RPG's first expansion, now has a release date. It slashes its way to PS5 on the 8th October, giving you a few months to get your characters and their equipment up to snuff.
You can get a feel for the DLC's tone via the new cinematic trailer we've embedded above, but it's basically three minutes of that girl from the main story losing her mind. Not what we'd call a fun watch.
Will you be grinding through this Diablo 4 expansion later in the year? Please sort your inventory out in the comments section below.

Me, personally, no. For me Diablo lost his magic along the way and turned out to be a garbage collection button smashing game. Very sad.
@Sergo well, you've described most of the loot-based ARPG games, you know. That is the essence of them: smash buttons, kill monsters, collect loot.
Depending on price m d4 is really fun now but still a ways to go to be great.
Good to see they're supporting the old stager still.
Even though I'm not into this kind of games, I always admire the quality of their cgi trailers๐๐
I will disappoint... I pre-order Ultimate edition. Shopto has sale now on, some of gift cards are with 16,7% discount ๐ And Diablo 4 is very fun game to me, especially after Loot rework.
This trailer was too much.
The warning at the start was justified.
@Cutmastavictory theres 3 tiers. Most expencive one is around 90$ or whatever.
I played the game through to its natural conclusion and enjoyed it, but I don't think I want more of the same, which I suspect this DLC will be. I can beat the game one or two more times, but I don't want to spend any more money.
Yeah carrying her being corrupted was always going to happen, brave but very stupid girl. Anyway yet again Blizzard putting out incredible CG cutscenes.
@Sergo D2 was way worse for it but rose tinted glassed does taint views.
@Friendly D4 is pretty messed up in general, they go really hard in messed up imagery especially after the sunshines and rainbows that is D3.
I am still bummed that Diablo wasn't the final boss. He better the final boss of the last expansion, aka the real final boss.
The expansion story pretty much carries on one of many massive plot holes in the base game story.
