Netflix's animated Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Craft has a release date, with the globetrotting treasure hunter venturing to the streaming service on 10th October. We got a brief look at the legendary character in the action, teasing the kinds of high-action antics to come, and it looks pretty damn slick.
Intriguingly, The Legend of Lara Croft takes place in the continuity of the recent Survivor trilogy (Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Shadow of the Tomb Raider), set after the events of the games, and will "chart the globetrotting heroine's next chapter as the iconic adventurer". Netflix teases what's to come: "More than 25 years after her first appearance, Lara Croft (voiced by Hayley Atwell) continues to explore ancient mysteries and uncover lost truths across breathtaking and dangerous destinations."
