Post Trauma, an upcoming survival horror game in the vein of PS1 classics such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill, is now releasing on PS5 at the end of this year. This is the first mention of a concrete PlayStation release as it was only listed for consoles and PC previously, so current-gen players can look forward to what the latest trailer above depicts.
You'll play as Roman, a train conductor who finds himself trapped in a "hellscape of horror". With little mention of combat on the Steam page, Post Trauma is all about "patience and careful thinking" as you solve "the many puzzles and challenges concealing precious tools and items needed to progress". Getting into a fight with the physical monsters of the game is seen as a last resort.
The description continues: "Created from a strong love of horror games and powered by Unreal Engine 5, Post Trauma blends fixed camera angles with stunning modern graphics to achieve a truly cinematic and unsettling horrific experience. The ambiance and thrills of the game are further enhanced by a captivating audio landscape, thanks to the unique and hypnotic score."

Hope this is a sleeper hit like Tormented Souls and Visage!
@BeerIsAwesome It's brown trousers time
If it’s got giant black and yellow tarantula spiders that drop from the ceilings in it at any point I’m out as will the ps5 via a window
Man, I'm enjoying this resurgence of old school horror. Signalis really blew my socks off. Alisa and crow county are also fantastic and the upcoming hollow body also looks great.
Looks like something to keep on my radar!
I’ve got Dr Nick in my head saying “No that’s trauuuuma!” now
Both this and Slitterhead dropping soon. Let the fall of the AA survival horror commence!
Fingers crossed for physical editions
This looks better than the Silent Hill 2 remake.
Oh this game. I've watched Residence of Evil crew played the demo and it looks pretty good. And iirc this is made by a small indie devs in Spain which is quite impressive.
