Smartphone spinoff Persona 5: The Phantom X has been confirmed for a console release, with a port promised for some time after the mobile version's international launch.
Persona Central brings us the news, citing an excerpt from an offline event held by SEGA, Atlus, and Chinese developer Perfect World in Shanghai on 12th July, which has since been translated and published. Answers provided at the event confirm both an international release of the game and the development of a version for consoles afterwards.
Intriguingly, long-term collaboration plans are in place for Persona 5 Royal, Persona 3 Reload, and Persona 4 Golden, in that specific release order. We were quite surprised to learn how awesome mobile games are these days; take a peek at The Phantom X's gameplay trailer below:
